Sammm, go to the media thread and read the article by Jon Ralph.
Gives you a much better overview of what really went down when he left.
The board at the time was horrific, and to compound Things we were all reeling from the terrible disappointments of 2009/2010.
Ross could have done nothing more for the club at that time.
Our list was in a mess afterwards, not necessarily only through his doing, but he threw everything at getting a flag.

Not really.
More than anything/ body else I’d trust players in both clubs he coached who have said he’s the best coach they’ve ever had.

Ross was the equivalent to a great women who made us a better man.

With Ross, we were achieving levels of success that were only matched in the 60s.

But, like every man with a history of self sabotage and mediocrity. We flew too close to the sun without conquering the world and got burnt. We spiralled. We blamed the women. We neglected the women because we hurt and we failed - instead of praising her and seeing her for all the good she has done for us.

So we let her walk. She broke our heart. We were angry… we probably broke hers too.

We tried other women. We didn’t like the midget who kept telling us how we should be and the view from the world down there. She dried to tip our drinks down the sink. She had to go….

We spent a long time with the first bird who would have us after. Older lady. Liked it rough but could never last a full season. But we stayed together. Ultimately taking her dentures out and telling us we were significantly pleasing just ran it’s course.

I thought of that same word. A few people need to educate themselves on the shitshow from a decade ago. I admit that I had no idea about it all until recently.

For a very very long time it was only ever reported as Ross knifed the saints cause he doesnt do rebuilds.

It was a much much better narrative than what actually happened and Ross makes for a pretty good villain for the media.
