ATTENTION BLUEBAGGERS:

Given that many of those who have put their hand up are currently torn between the family commitments of Mothers Day and doing this petition, I reluctantly have very little choice but to postpone this until next week's clash against the Saints.

I'd like to thank the Herald Sun for their impartial and fair look into our case, bringing a lot of needed attention to our argument to the Blues supporters currently in the woodwork.

Not only this, but we are currently working on an official website for this: http://www.sackpagan.com - has been registered, and unfortunately, were it not for my lack of knowledge of phpBB, would be up as we speak. However, "Massive" has kindly donated his time to help us with this, but we will have to wait until his business commitments are alleviated, for this to be up it seems.

There is no excuse now to not throw your support behind the petition, which will now be at the Saints game.

Go 'Baggers

Cammo

since when do you run the club ??????????
think before you act
are you paying out Pagan's contract ???????????????????????????????????????
go follow Richmond

Stop being the problem and start being the solution so called experts like yourself are big on stirring up problems but never quick to offer any ways of fixing them
I trust you would be a fully paid up Carlton member for 2006 but have my doubts as idiots like yourself with stupid suggestions like yours don’t deserve any logical reasons to the reasons why Denis Pagan is not the blame for where we sit today so I wont bother
Instead try supporting the team on and off the field as I am sure when things turn around you will be the first in line to congratulate Denis otherwise I suggest you take your petition and place it you know where

Re: The Denis Petition: NEXT Sunday At The 'G. Volunteers Required!

Sorry but I love some of these comments about "When Denis Pagan turns things around" ...... let me tell you people, anyone can coach a team full of TOP DRAFT PICKS to finals. Just look at Grant Thomas.

Some people have no idea.

Before you go damaging the reputation of the club further, maybe you should consider getting your numbers first.

Then have a think tank outlining your approach and the reasons for your petition.

Then offer some solutions. (including financial - payout)

Then, once you have your ticket, approach the club for a meeting, and give them a chance too hear your concerns.

The last thing you want too do is turn up on Sunday, look disjointed, have people calling for Pagans head based on, it's time for him too go, and make everyone look like complete d**s.

Too much noise, and the media will get onto it, and then what, if it is not structured properly could be damaging.

*** Myabe this week is too soon***

Not saying you don't have the right, just hoping due dilligence is placed into making educated assesments for all that wish too be involved.

Here here.....very well said. I don't doubt Cameron's sentiment, but do doubt his methods....there are ways to go about things...and in my opinion this is not the right way. While i fully support all of our blokes, the cold hard fact is that for various reasons we all know, Denis has the list with the least talent and depth to work with. While some have criticised our style this year as too defensive and designed to stop blowouts, well maybe this is what it will take for a while in order to try to slowly build some confidence.....i can understand how the more senior players are quickly becoming frustrated, but hey need to lift their game and start to lead by example...sackiing Pagan mid-season is not the answer......perhpas inject a couple of AFL ready kids next season (e.g. Hansen), perhaps another midfielder who has an impact immediately, a couple of the kids come along towards the end of the season (Kennedy, Bower), and next year we start winning some games, all this rubbish is then quickly forgotten.

More to the point of why i posted this though...Miochael Stevens should be ashamed of himself......slow news day mate? I'm sure the Hun is paying you far more than i earn, so go out there and find a decent story rather than sitting on your backside reading BF picking up on fan dissent that comes with lack of success with monotonous regularity and earn your keep.

Camo....You are an absolute disgrace!

Media driven drivel! Absolute garbage!

Think before you type and speak!

GROW UP!

Lets start another petition.

Who would sign a petition to have this tools membership disolved?

Any takers?

We do not need blood letting, the club is heading in the right direction.

Camo why dont you still go there on Sunday and hold up a "Sack Pagan" sign and see how much abuse you cop! I'll bring some tomatoes with me.

Were you calling for his sacking in Round 1? Last week was our worst loss for the year, other than that it was 32 points against Hawthorn without Waite and Fevola and an unfit Fisher. We came close to the Swans, Richmond & Fremantle and I for one was not overly dissapointed with our performance.

De-stabilising the club at this point of a season is disgraceful.

Just to add I believe Pagan has made significant changes to his style over the past 12 months, perhaps the root cause of our current plight is this:

1). Being severley behind the 8 ball in respect to the talent on our list (due to reasons all well known).

2). Some of the current players being accepting of a different coaching style, taking it onboard and not sooking about things.

Lets see how we are positioned at the end of the year and if:

1). We have been regularly belted and not competitive

2). Our young kids have not been given opportunities and game time

Then and only then would I consider giving any support to the CLUB making a decision on the future of the coach.

Hey Cameron
Great idea shame that you have no people willing to back you
You idiot
Even where Carlton sits today we dont need drop kicks like you pull your head in and back the club and the people who run it on and off the field
Just got word from the Carlton Cheer Squad that the run thru this week will read

I'd blame the team more than likely. 18 blokes running around the field have more scope to impact the game than one old bloke barking into a phone in a grandstand box.

I'd also react with the knowledge that Pagan has two and a half seasons remaining on his contract and we are broke as we can be.

Exactly ODN, the 22 guys on the ground running around with the ball have to be more accountable and show some real determination and pride in themselves.

Was a good question coming from a Tigers supporter  at least Pagan won't be spat on by some animal.

I am just sick of this s#itting in the cot. This is absolute rubbish. The saddest thing about this thread is that the media has grabbed hold of it and we've got the wider football community pointing and laughing at the club even more. This makes my blood boil.

For anybody who is remotely entertaining the idea of supporting this ridiculous idea, before you put on your coats and head down to the 'G' on Sunday and call for Dennis' head, pop into the Club at princess park. Head into the bar and look at the 16 cups that grace the room. Think about the many years we've enjoyed amazing success. The numbers of times we were down at half time and ramped it up in the premiership quarter, sending opposition supports to their cars early in the last quarter. Through those good times, can you ever remember saying 'gee Wallsy is such a magnificent coach, what a move he pulled in that last quarter to snatch the game', gee Parkins speech was amazing. No. We just sat back and enjoyed the magnificent ride that was being a Carlton Supporter.

Now I agree with much of the sentiment that has been raised about Dennis, but this sort of action is not the answer. We can't expect Dennis to 'give the kids a go' and expect to be winning all the time.

We've been really competitive this year, and there is plenty to be positive about. Lance Whitnall is in career best form, and is arguably one of the best key position players in the league. Fev is keeping his head up and being a leader around the club. Andrew Walker is finally playing like the champion #2 draft pick we wanted. Houlihan, Scotland, and many other midfielders are putting on size to match their speed, and then we've got Murphy, Kennedy, and Bower for the future. We have been really close for all but the last match this year, and spitting the dummy after loosing to Collingwood, well, it's just what I'd expect from Collingwood supporters, not those in the Navy blue.

So go down to the club, let your eyes peel across the 16 premiership cups, and think hard about the young team who is trying their best to step forward for the club. Do you think having the fans protesting outside the game in round 7 is what the club needs? NO. What the club needs is 60,000 carlton supporters at the MCG screeming their lungs out to the end, and the 35000 who haven't signed up yet, on the books. That's our role as supporters. After all the coaches and players who filter through the club, the spirit remains. As Carlton supporters, we are custodians of this spirit. We need to protect it and nurture it, not aggrovate it and destroy it. As far as I'm concerned, anybody who is out signing up supporters to sack the coach should go find another team to barrack for.

Go Blue boys.

I think I am in love!

The sentiment and TRUTH is deep......

But in one word what can we say........

GREAT POST PAL!

My apologies -

I haven't gone in hiding - I just rarely post here (hence the "As posted on another forum" remark)

Bit hard defending myself from the slings and arrows from all places - but if you want to see me make a fist of it - best bet is to go to CharlieSierraCharlie ;)
