I'd be shocked if Watson wasn't taken by the Hawks and I still don't think North or Eagles will bid on Walter.

I can understand why we wouldn't bid on Walter with the whole pick 1 Harley etc etc, but makes no sense for Norf not to. Why not? Bordering on negligent.
Walter should be pick 2.

Eagles as a club are pushing very strongly to the AFL to allow bids on academy players from pick 20, down from pick 40.

Eagles very keen on Champion 12 months out.

As we should be, he's a little jet.

I don’t know of any reason why a 3 way live trade couldn’t be done but it hasn’t happened before

Adelaide also lose pick 20 in your proposal so lose 10 and 20 whilst swapping F1s with West Coast

This is the problem with the bid system.

In an open draft they would go higher. How does the AFL make the clubs pay what they should.

A survey of all clubs on where they see these players worth should be factored into it.

If every team agreed Walter is pick 1 or 2 suns should have to pay up equivalent of 2 if a bid doesn't come in at 1.

Daicos at 4 freed up the pick they then used on McStay wasn't it.
