Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Keys you may like to sticky this post & move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread if you have one.

Usual 11th hour speculations going on in the mediocre media saying WC to drop a bombshell and use pick one on Curtin....not long to go.

Dont get why this wont keep happening either. Anyone who has the choice between the 2 codes is picking NRL every day of the week. More money, more opportunity, less pressure. The benefit of having SOO and not just the premiership to strive for

Any player is choosing NRL over AFL when they have a choice... which makes the way the AFL academies work even dumber.
Yeah, if you're happy to play in front of 10k fans each week, I guess..

North sell the F1 18 to Dee's for 6 11

North offer 2 3 15 for Harley.

We take it.

North have
1 6 11 17

It can still happen.

And we take McKercher, Curtin & Collard.

North won't offer that though.

Cal Twomey has been pretty accurate with his phantom drafts over the last few years, so long as I keep looking, and seeing JTR #1 then all is well.
Reid looks better in eagles gear.
🤮🤮

Rule no. 2 in photoshopping faces onto bodies. You have to get the body proportions right.
This is way too barrel-body and too thick (and short) a neck. Therefore, it becomes uncanny valley, you unconsciously know it doesn't stack up.

Better give Sydney an extra first round pick, 4 more home games and some CoLA to say sorry.

Beatson almost pleading for total unfettered access to every kid in NSW.

Northern States teams sense of entitlement has got way out of hand.

However I cant see the Law Firm: Dillon & Kane, doing anything soon to rectify the situation.

Geez 2 3 and 15 would be tempting

Nic may have to hand the guernsey to McKercher?

Of course.

But insane for North to even entertain the proposal - F1 (likely a top 3 pick), 2, 3 and 18 for only 1, 6 and 11. Effectively destroys their hand this year and next for only Harley Reid.

IF all this is accurate: If I was in Nic's shoes I'd be telling the Eagles to shove it, no way I'm travelling away for a few days to hand out a guernsey right after my child being born.
2nd child, carries less significance. I know from experience with my 2nd only 6 months old. I was back to work after a week and flying between Sydney and Brisbane

Well firstly "less significance" is kinda sad - but it's your life. Secondly a couple of days afterwards vs a week is a bit different.

I'm saying for me gotta weigh up what you're missing out on and the people that may need you.

Hard to see Freo passing on ZZ with 34. Reckon it would be between him and Sanchez but with O'Driscoll an option late they'll probably opt with ZZ.

Ah its Rotham as the number 7, forgot we've been trying to make that happen. Not a key defender at all in my book. Should be playing on a wing or something.

For the record I've never been a fan of chasing Curtin and quietly rate Harry Edwards too. Nor am I writing off Bazzo, just noting a lot of people are wondering if his best position might be as 3rd tall. Yet to be seen how many games we actually get out of Gov in the next 2 years. Barrass seems to have explored his options at least once, this year wasn' the right fit for him with a new house and baby on the way but the reality is he'd be doing himself and the club a favour chasing another premiership over east. And let's be honest Barrass is probably best suited as a 3rd tall as well for all the good he does locking down key forwards, which will be especially so in his last years.

If it were me trading our f1 I'd be dealing with Adelaide for 2 of their first round this year and a future first and hoping O'Sullivan slides to 10. Take Charlie Edwards with the second pick and bank a pick for next year. I'd still want to be speculating on ZZ and looking at Buzz next year if 12 months in the system indicates Z's his best position isn't full back. People say what about Curtin on a wing, seems a bit wasteful. I wonder if Z could be moulded into something like that though, for a pick in the 30's worth a crack.

Anyway my gut says ZZ is gone by the range we would take him and we end up with Goad. Which I don't hate, might end up a great option forward.
Yeah Rotham isn't a key defender but not sure what else he is. He was actually solid in last few games as 2nd / 3rd defender. All the key defenders would look significantly better with a competent midfield.

Just cant even close to justify having seven talls on the list who are best positioned as key defenders when we have such gaping holes elsewhere. Gaff is so far more cooked than Mcgovern and replacing him and the entire wing department should be number one priority. Neither Curtin or ZZ are playing wing in the AFL.
