If we're prepared to be patient then Archer Reid is the pick, but I don't think a project key forward is the best use of our next pick.

I should have included Edwards sure but we grabbed a ruck last draft. And he has slid.

I see him sliding all the way to Freo over pick 40 TBH.

I see him at Geelong for sure

Got absolutely no problem with keeping our F1, wouldn't have minded Curtins but such is life, I'm thinking Murph tomorrow.
Imagine how we're going to feel next draft again with possible 1 or 2.... similar to this year, so many options!

The disappointment for me is that I don’t actually want that pick to be top 2. Head says it probably will be and it was a good move not to trade but heart says that I’d rather have Curtin and hope we return to some sort of form with a healthy list.

i'm predicting a very eagles draft of taking reid, not trading our F1, while possibly splitting out second on day 2 for some injury prone bolter/slider hbf with midfield potential.

Nobody on this board this time last year was saying "Noah Long" and that worked out pretty bloody well. Everyone needs to take a beat. We're in a good spot, despite the complete ****ing bastardisation of the draft process from VFL House.

Really think we may be in the middle of the race for Ollie Murphy. At extreme worst id be demanding Lions pick 24 and 39 for pick 23 for example (know its not that now etc but you get the gist)

Alternnatively id like 23 and 52 for 25 and 31 with Geelong also

Not particularly upset to have missed out on Collard, or Moir, actually. Both I think you can find in most drafts.

Curtin would have been nice, but in the end, we would have overpaid with our F1 IMO. Can understand why GWS took Adelaide’s offer.

Now, We get to consider an offer for this pick with some decent talent still left on the board, or take the best of what was left. Really hoping for Cooper Simpson, to be honest with you.

Of course non of us want 1 or 2 next yr but let's be real....
On the flip-side I'm 100% certain we ALL want to bring in some more elite talent, the rebuild was never going to be complete this year anyway.

We had no interest in Hardeman at all. Players we interviewed over the weekend still there like Roberts/Lorenz so think we are in the spot we expected to be

Curtin probably goes pick 15 in next years draft anyway. First round next year is much better
