I think we could get Setterfield out of Carlton for not much. He’s a good size and a decent inside midfielder.
Carlton are goi g to start feeling some cap crunch soon and they might act early since they already have 3 others ahead of him for an inside mid berth. He’s been played on the wing and he’s a bit useless there but he was drafted as big bodied mid. He never got a chance to settle at Carlton due coach changes injury and form I think he’d offer 10x what paddy dow would.
Not a bad moneyball option I agree.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was impressed by his game the other night. A spot finally opened up in the midfield for him and he was very good. Pretty average wingman but might be a decent inside mid after all. He’s played good football at times and was good against Melbourne when returned to midfield. I think he’s someone we could get something out of.
We were also keen in his draft year.

Played 1 good game in his career
Absolute lemon
3 N's in his name. Can anyone tell me what Tanner Bruhn has that Jack Ross doesn't? Just don't see anything stand out.
Was given a role on Oliver. Did pretty well for most of it.I was impressed by his game the other night. A spot finally opened up in the midfield for him and he was very good. Pretty average wingman but might be a decent inside mid after all.
We don't need another.list clogger that won't get a game , he's been around for ages and done nothing, we either draft a mid or trade for a quality one , trying to reinvent the wheel on this lemon isn't gonna do shit.Short sighted opinion I think. A few years ago he looked like coming good but fell victim to the rotating door of coaches.
My only concern is whether he’ll ever develop that killer edge a contested mid needs. If he finds I think he’s got all the tools to be a very good and hopefully cheap midfielder for us.

I actually think Gold coast would be better off chasing him than Heppel FFSCan’t remember a bloke travelling as well as Mundy is at 37 and retiring.
Still putting up strong clearance and tackling numbers and runs out games better than most. He said he wanted to play on but Freo tapped him on the shoulder. I’d love to see him get another year somewhere. Seriously good footballer that would help set standards at any club looking to set the bar for a young group, or perhaps added midfield depth for a year then into coaching. North or Essendon perhaps?
Bergman looks like he's Hugo with far better footskills. We drafted a few outside types last year though, so probably not a need for us and would cost us pick 19.I think I remember reading somewhere that Miles Bergman and Hugo Ralphsmith were close from their Sandringham TAC cup years.
Both similar players in ways, but were an elite half back combination at under 18 level.
Port would be asking for a top 20 pick at the least. So it would be a long shot but very talented none the less
Oliver had 29 and was among the best on ground. Was given a role on Oliver. Did pretty well for most of it.
If we face the Dees in finals, Graham has to play a hard tag on Oliver, stop him, and the Dees really struggle.Oliver had 29 and was among the best on ground.
Clamp Oliver, kick the ball where Gawn isn't and make May accountable and you're home.If we face the Dees in finals, Graham has to play a hard tag on Oliver, stop him, and the Dees really struggle.
Mundy wouldn’t be taking games off Aarts next season he’d be taking games off Sonsie. Is in no way a needIf we win the flag this year I would take Mundy in the PSD just for 1 year. Even if he played 15 games and was a backup he would add depth and hed be someone you could depend on in finals. Rebuilds are good but when you have a chance at putting a premiership cup in the cabinet you take it. If he was the last person on our list it wouldnt be a bad thing. Ie. Would you prefer Aarts on your list or Mundy. Id take Mundy even at 37.
Doubt he would even come to vic for a year contract anyway as wellMundy wouldn’t be taking games off Aarts next season he’d be taking games off Sonsie. Is in no way a need
I do wonder how serious they were about Heppel, could have just been trying to drive up his price to piss off EssendonI actually think Gold coast would be better off chasing him than Heppel FFS
He'd be perfect for them.
