Re: Shane Tuck

Would make an excellent duo with Fev.
Couldn't think of a worse combination.

Fev has enough trouble concentrating on the footy......that will not help him one bit.

Re: Daniel Stewart

I think the angry mob have this one under control.......little more for me to say here.........carry on.

"There are no stupid trade suggestions.........just"

who wants to finish this sentence?

Re: Brock McLean

Are you taking the piss? Or did you not understand that donating $10,000 is different to donating $50?

You buy pineapples for $50!!! ceezz you ferrals are pretty dumb, unless you live in Tokyo which i went to once and the pineapples were about $35 bucks a pop....

Re: Shaun Hampson and 2nd rnd pick for Taylor Walker ???

I wouldn't do a straight swap of Hampson--> Walker.

Seriously C_P, there's always crap like this going around during silly season.

It's just sad that you're for real

Re: Matthew Spangher

Spangher
Position - 3rd tall, Wing

Pros:
Beautiful attack on the ball
Confident
Good agility
Very Strong
Reasonable tank, can play out a running game

Cons:
Struggles with positioning
Bad at spoiling

Notes:
Not quite quick enough to play on smalls. Not strong enough overhead to take number1 or 2 forwards. His attack and rebound is what i would consider line breaking. He is only outside of best 22 because of Mitch Brown playing 3rd tall who is way better defensively.

If Spangher can learn to be stronger defensively he will be good.

I don't think the 3rd round pick would get it done for the Eagles but maybe ;)

Re: Richard Hadley could also return to the Gabba from Carlton....

Why would we want to let Hads go ?

Am i the only one here who noticed how we started struggling to win the ball out of the middle after he broke his arm ?

Re: Richard Hadley could also return to the Gabba from Carlton....

Matthews v Voss seems to be the vibe going around the traps

LOL.

No one had even heard this rumour until Andrew Hamilton threw it out there this morning.

Now people are claiming to have heard things "around the traps".

Yep, silly season has begun.

Ohhh.........you were right there.............really......so, so close.

Re: Shaun Hampson and 2nd rnd pick for Taylor Walker ???

Excellent idea.

We should see if they're also interested in trading Judd + Pick 11 for Symes.

Doubt that would happen. Bad call... poor call... inflammatory call, JUB.

Re: Shaun Hampson and 2nd rnd pick for Taylor Walker ???

Why is it, Essendon and Collingwood are chasing hard for an gun young key foward who apparently is on the trade market (rumoured anyway) but not us ??

Anyhow Taylor Walker is exactly the type of player we should be 'targetting' and I'm loathe to give up pick 11 for anyone, however the Crows are looking to build their ruckstocks, and I honestly think we should use Hampson as part of an trade offer to the Crows for Walker, plus throw in our 2nd rounder as well.

That would seem to me would be an fair swap, we wouldn't be given up too much (I'm sorry I'm not a big rap for Hampson truth be told, but he would have higher trade value, then our other tradeable ruckman in Jacobs) and I figure we he would be dispensible in order to get a tall key marking foward to the club.

CP you really do like trying to get people off side.

This idea is stupid, Hampsona nd Warnock combo is what is going to set us apart in 2010....

YES YES YES YES - Hampson is a spud and Walker will be a star

What's our second pick, chopped liver? I wouldn't be at all surprised if Walker doesn't live up to all the hype. He is deceptively flat-footed and not the most burly forward going around. Some sides could work out a plan to seriously limit his effectiveness.

Re: Richard Hadley could also return to the Gabba from Carlton....

Fourth rounder is all he's worth or perhaps Hooper or Harding?? Especially if he wants to come to us.

Won't get a gun like Adcock or Sammy Sheldon soz & we won't give up our second rounder for him.

A 3 way deal involving The Eagles and Dalziell seems about right.
dont want shelodon.dont rate him.

Re: Richard Hadley could also return to the Gabba from Carlton....

We would be stupid to let Hadley go.

I guess cause he struggled to get a game during the middle of the year might be the reason for the rumour, but the article said Brisbane wante dhim not the other way round, so until Hadley declares he wants out its a puff piece.

Ratten was really impressed by him late in the year, and said he was criticle to the way we got the ball out of pack situations, so not sure Ratts will want him to leave.
