One rule I grew up w playing in the wet - always play in front - it rarely carries further when the ball is heavy and slippery

It's a tough one with modern grounds that don't get muddy and a multide of balls that don't get water logged - as the ball slides out the back really easily in the wet and creates the easiest wet weather goals if they're not defending for that.
