If you are implying we will loose Warnock if we don't add more to our offer then it's not irony at all. We would still have pick 24 while you'll struggle to get anything for Warnock, more than likely get nothing for him, far from irony to me.
You meant it as an insult but if the club had the same opinion asthe supporters then that is exactly what you'd be saying to yourselves.

Kreuzer and Hampson many believe will be our ruck duo for years to come.
If we were to acquire Warnock it would just mean
a) competition for spots
b) safeguarding the younger boys in the ruck through spread of workload
c) Kreuzer, possibly in time, being used up forward and pinch hitting in the ruck like a Koschitzke like role. Hampson and Warnock to share ruck duties.
We're not going to lose sleep if we don't get him! As many of us have said. I think most will be happy to utilise pick 24 in the draft on a tall forward to compliment Fevola.
What acting? i don't want him and i've never wanted him, especially for the price the Dockers seem to be insisting on, it's a well known fact that i'm no fan of his. Personally he's over-hyped on here by your supporters and there is no way i'd offer more than pick 24 for him in our situation.
He's not essential to us so we won't be selling the house so to speak to get him. If he was a CHF who kicked goals you'd see a different stance from many people including me but he isn't.
In that case, why are Carlton even bothering to make a play for him? or is it robbie who is trying to seduce you?

After being dealt wooden spoon after wooden spoon it seems you are quite happy to finish 10th. It probobly understandable. Stats lie you don't need a ruckman at all you can finish top 10 without one.

Yes it was 10th this year, where were you? At least we are on the improve, unlike a certain west australian club who only recruit dead wood from clubs like Essendon, book mark this and see where we are both positioned this time next year.

We had our worst season in 7 years. You had your best and finished only 3 spots ahead.

Thorton didn't want to play for Carlton but you told him to sign or you'd draft him in the PSD anyway so he was forced to stay. The same will happen to Warnock if he goes ito the PSD and Melbourne can't afford him.

The media has Warnock nominating us as his preferred choice, we apparently have stated an interest but put pick 6 off the table and said it is likely it will be pick 24 that is offered. If this isnt good enough for Freo, fine we dont care. Deal with another club or lose him for nothing. Putting it simply I cant see our recruiting team selling the farm to get a ruckman who has only played 20 odd games. I dont see the logic in why Freo fans get pissed off that we dont offer more.

It's a two way street though. There are some Carlton fans who are getting 'pissed' at Fremantle fans asking for more. You have to remember that if you were the ones trading Warnock, you too would be asking for a 1st rounder. I don't think anybody would honestly believe we will get one, but it's what they want.
The bolded parts interest me. The media has not only got Carlton as the preferred destination, but they also say you have offered him $1.4 million over 4 years. For a guy who has played less than 20 games and with the amount of high paid players you have, that much money is essentially 'selling the farm'. That amount of money would also suggest a high level of interest, so I wouldn't expect Carlton to let him go to the PSD and risk not getting him.
Freo have always been beyond joke status. A failed experiment. Wouldn't be surprised if your basket case failed regional franchise is formally merged with the Weagles, and the license handed over to Tassie.

I`m sure they regret the millions of dollars we contribute to the competition
lol. Shame you don't have any leverage. We'll get him for a 2nd or 3rd round pick, and a 300k per year contract. Otherwise he goes to the PSD and you get zippo. You need to focus on why everyone wants to leave your regional basket case club.
