I was just going off the draft tracker height of 192cm but what’s 1cm between friends.

As we know it’s all about NECK size anyway !

And he is going to LOVE hurting people this guy, needs to be careful as would expect some clumsy actions to cost suspensions

Not too many pick 59s over recent years with this lads skill set
Genuine question, why go at 59 then ?

I'm not complaining, but I'm not sure why he went late.

Man if I can be really honest I quite enjoy and agree with most of your posts but find your profile pic deeply disturbing. Not as bad as the other poster who had a somewhat blurry serial killer type face who had I had to IGNORE just because of the profile pic. I Can’t handle it . Clearly my issue :)
Deeply disturbing? Not a fan of con air or other Steve Buscemi movies?

But yeah my posts are decent ;)

Let him play against Collingwood and size up Houston

Tyler slid because he failed to have an impact as a 17 year old, in a SANFL team stacked with tup up players.

He also didn’t dominate for SA in the under 18 carnival, playing as a third tall in a struggling forward line.

Watching him live in the SANFl, I believe he has some elite attributes. Strong mark, great burst speed, lovely kick and he hits the ball HARD. Considering that he was one of the younger players picked up in the draft, we need to be patient.

Playing in Snrs is pretty hard gig vs U18.

Put on weight - the infamous mandated hamburger diet - could barely run 2km and scared other teams off.

Lose 5-8kg, has real pace, hardness, footy smarts, great judgement of an incoming ball, and good leading, but mainly his kicking -:Fog like. 50+ metres and very accurate

Could be one of the great draft steals

He clearly wants the chance at AFL level, look at those emotions even though he knew beforehand that we were taking him. The talent hasn’t evapourated, I think the professional work ethic will come if those emotions are anything to go by.
Think it might be a bit more complex than just that

Time will tell

Can you be a little more expansive here? Struggling with pressures of a professional environment etc?

From the vision, and the reactions, it gave the feel that it's been a tough few months for the lad.

The reaction seemed odd given he was guaranteed to be picked.

Scott Welsh is first cousins with Ben Moore who played at Richmond and their uncle is Kym Hodgeman.

Plenty of footy chatter for Tyler past, present and future.

And the No. 17 is a good touch.

Maybe a few hard truths have been conveyed to Tyler

The Club could have easily nominated Tyler for the RD, rather than the National Draft .....1 year Contract, versus 2 year min Contract

Club must have a level of faith in his ability to get AFL fit

Scotty was 188 cm tall ....Tyler's 4-5 cm taller

I don't quite get all this waffle about him being overweight? Looks fine to me, just has a face where he carries puppy fat similar to Schoenberg.

This kid is a proper footballer, just what we need at the club and he is clearly exteemely happy to be here.
