I'm not having a go at you specifically here, but I've been hearing this argument a lot lately, and I kind of hate it.
Sid would have a big impact as sub, yes. He would have an even bigger impact playing a full game.
You know who would have a huge impact as sub? Rankine. Or Dawson. Or Soligo. Or any of our best players.
We shouldn't be choosing our sub based on who can impact. Furthermore, we've seen for years now that it's not good for players to play smaller portions of gametime week after week. Draper did his role as sub last week. He deserves a full game this week. Someone else can be sub.
I want milera to be sub...

Why is Murphy an emergency?? There are legit 10 or so better options!
Bond, Dowling, Pedlar, Berry, Schoenberg, Taylor, Edwards, Ryan, Jones and obviously Nankervis is already named as an emergency. Every single one of those players deserves a shot before Murphy does.

no surprise and dont think there really should've been any changes, especially without anyone able to sanfl and impress. should be beating essendon if we're gonna be a serious team anyways.
IMO it's relevant to the younger blokes in the squad wondering where they sit in the pecking order, when a low-ceiling plodder like Murphy is still ahead of them two weeks in a row (with a full list to choose from)
If I was Dowling and Taylor who finished last season well and are now out of favour compared to Murphy, I'd be pretty annoyed.
