Don't want to dwell too much on North in this thread because I'm happy we've got the win, but I can't be the only one that thinks Xerri has only been good on the stats sheet this year. I feel like clubs just don't give a shit about playing on him because he keeps taking it out of the ruck himself and it goes nowhere. Great individual stats, but I've watched quite a few North games this year and he's making their mids less effective.

Frost has been our best player all season. Morrison and Gunners played well today, but two very important players for this rebuild are Finn and Seamus. Finn looks to have turned a corner and Seamus is building nicely.

Frost probably played his best ever game.

Newcombe and Nash (atrocious kicking aside) both played really well and stood up when Worpel was quiet.

Moore stood up like a real club leader.

Impey had a great game.

Edit: Morrison had a great game too.

Edit: Scrimshaw also had a great game defensively.

Chol had such talent, and really put in a huge effort.

Mackenzie and MacDonald were both excellent in the first half, but neither could get near it in the second half (four touches each).

Worpel and Hardwick both had bad games.

I know Frosty fell from grace last year through injury and everything but c'mon, he's had some great games for us. It's not a miracle that he's been good this year because other than through injury he's pretty much always been best 22.

He won’t, but should be polling 3 votes for games like he had today. Behind Pearce and Taylor, I can’t think of many that have outperformed him this year, maybe the dees duo? He’s been immense in almost every game.

They talk about our leaders standing up and this guy has been the one leader really sticking his neck out.

Overall that win was par for the course for me, but gee it’s nice to be on the board today

Frost being sensational today takes nothing away from his previous good games.

How many contests did he impact when peeling off his man? How many spoils? How many big hits and strong tackles. I don't recall him ever having a better game for us.
