The senior core have been down to start the year and it was so good to see Nuke,Moore, Impey back to the best.I thought the skipper was better without being outstanding.

The Win was set-up early Morrison,Croc and Frenchie got the scoreboard ticking.

Well done Harry… seems to always have to earn his spot a lot more than anyone else.
He does mostly the right things at the right time. He gives consistent effort.

Many good efforts today. Scrimmers steadied us early. Jars super hard at it. Duke found some mojo.

Gunners made such a difference to our structure. Chol again worked his arse off.

And of course our igniter. Moore should be our captain. Gives his all… all the time.

Today is a relief. Some players back and maybe we can regain some respect going forward.

I think thank goodness you got the footy and they didn’t.

He went head to head with LDU and won that contest comfortably.

Frosty is so good.
Love that guy.
Has a touch of the Gary Busey’s about him but my word he gives it everything.
And Gunners was there when the whips were cracking.
That’s leadership.

A big positive was our tackling was better. We need to improve further though, and there were plenty of contest where we should have destroyed the ball carrier where we didn’t.

Our fluency on transition was also much better, but we still need to not let our half forwards drift too far up the ground, it kills our potency in the transition and allows teams to sit back and regain easy possession - we were better but we still got caught out.

Having Day and Lewis back will hopefully straighten us up

Meek's massive goal was my personal favourite part of the game. Good to finally get a win. Within a kick of beating the reigning premiers and would have beaten Bombers had we kicked straight. Could have easily been 3-3

I think we're not as bad as outsiders suggest. We've definitely had inconsistencies. And some very poor games, but it's to be expected in a very young side.

We have Day, CJ, Lewis & Bruest to come back. I'm hoping DGB can actually work his way back into the side, but it's gonna be difficult for DGB, as Frost has been phenomenonal!
