Plenty of people on here were predicting a loss, no doubt they’ll come back critiquing what was a comprehensive win. We won, could’ve played better but you can make that argument for any game. We won. Day back next week, let’s move on and look at the positives.

On North , actually feel for them . We belted them without at least 2 absolute a graders . Not good signs for them .

Frost being sensational today takes nothing away from his previous good games.

How many contests did he impact when peeling off his man? How many spoils? How many big hits and strong tackles. I don't recall him ever having a better game for us.

He was great but he's definitely had similarly good ones. There was that game where he absolutely clamped up Franklin who was on a good run of form, for example.

1. Pure validation as a Harry Morrison believer. Should play every week.

2. Winning convincingly was exactly what I needed to instill a little belief.

Did nothing wrong when he played his sub game probably deserved a full game the following week. Got it today and looks like he should hold it.

Backline:
Frosty was excellent again. Would have to be top 5 in the BnF right now. Thought the addition of Serong made a difference and Seamus was great. Weddle did some great things offensively and defensively again. Scrim was solid as a rock.

Mids:
Meek would be the most improved player at the club. Playing like a ruck rover and providing an honest contest for 4 quarters. Welcome back Nash and Newk! Now the challenge is to do that against an AFL standard midfield. Moore did nice things when he played on ball. Frenchie is class when he gets the ball. Not sure if he was on a wing, but Amon has been excellent the past few weeks after a slow start. Morrison solid as always.

Forwards:
CMac was great. Now needs to do it against the better sides more consistently. Moore outstanding, Gunston added class, Ginni was very handy and Chol had some nice moments.

Hopefully Day and Lewis not far away. Huge challenge against a good side next week.

Feel that Swans have had a pretty soft start as usual (other than Melb and Coll they’ve played a lot of middle tier sides) so their form line is not as impressive as it may appear. A lot will have to go right for us to beat them but our intensity and effort was there today and that will go a long way to be competitive if we bring it.

Mouthguards at training again hopefully.

We sit 1-5 after 6 rounds with a percentage of 77.1%

In 2023 we sat 1-5 with a percentage of 64.5%

We have had a far worse run with injury.

Don't feel sorry for the current club at all, terribly led off field and have built a culture of losing in recent years as they tanked for draft picks.

Feel sorry for long term supporters of what was once a tough proud club that now must be considered for relocation or just dropped to the VFL.

Newcombe and Nash 32 possessions each. 9 and 10 clearances. I think that makes a very big difference and Meek continues to play well.

Thought Gunner presented well and showed great leadership esp., early which was critical. On the flip side Dimma was hardly sighted and wonder if that experiment might need to end and he goes back to defence.
