Well you should be looking to encourage a bloke who's tried really hard, maybe not the most gifted player, but I think underestimated. He would have known that he'd probably not get a game this year and that he was only ever backup. So a lot of players would drop their head, sulk about. But...
Bit sad when you bag a bloke who's played his heart out for his club, provided a option if one of our ruckman went down all year and never dropped his head....Next year will be about the development of Cordy and Roughead as our next ruckman with Roughead a little more advanced with his body than...
we had enough opportunities to win last night without a tall key forward, we didn't take those opportunities therefore not making the most of when we controlled the game. As a result we left ourselves open to the "the rub of the Green" and with no buffer when eventually Stkilda found some...

Yep spot on, he's just signed. I think Mr Denham has it in for the dogs, his comments are very strange about our older players and Everitt, on the eve of a prelim...I think he's trying to distract them...
Not sure why he would do that, but its not the first time he's sunk the slipper in.
It probably won't happen this way, but i think Picken should go to Goddard. We can't do what we did last few times we played the saints. We have to make him accountable. I think Eages could just go one on one with Montagna. Cross will should take Hayes. The rest well....just one on one...no...
I know most on here don't rate big Skip, but i do. So I won't be at all bothered if he has to come in to replace Will. He may well be our secret weapon, and wouldn't that make this site interesting next week....
We know the battle ahead will be hard for we face those amazing Saints, but always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can withstand the power of thousands of voices with a common goal.
We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics who will only grow...
No....Tom has not played great footy all year and on top of that only came back to Willi last week and he played ok but didn't set the world on fire.
I would leave Welsh in because he can play either end, and has X factor when deep in the forward line.
Tim Callan was ok last week and...
Having watched Tom play last week, and having seen him before he was injured, I don't think I would play him this week. We had him last time we met the saints and he didn't make any impact on the Saints. I'd stay with Callan now that Hill's form is not up to it at the moment. We'll need him...
We all know that the game will be won or lost in the midfield so any plan for Roo/Kosi is useless unless we are winning it in the midfield. But after re watching last week’s game it occurred to me...a vision if you like....
Lake will play deep prob on Kosi. Morris will take Riewoldt but...
Please tell me what on earth Ryan Hargrave did to deserve that spray? He's had a great year. Gia, I know he cops its too on here, but he went in very hard last night too....I think your comments are very unfair on too really decent blokes.
its pretty simple for mine. If we don't have to give up anything or not very much and he does not cost us the earth then its probably worth it.
But...if we have to give something to Sydney, like a decent draft pick or a decent kid...forget it.
If we play it like we must have him we'll...
Don't worry....you guys are the faves....you have all your best players back, plus you have 2 class power forwards against a small defense and the dogs prob won't have Murphy who means as much to them as brown does to you. Also on top of everything the dogs don't have any power forwards, no one...
Saw him play last week. He was among the best prob with Addison tad in front. he played mostly back, not sure who he was on as it seemed to change a lot. I was near the interchange at times during the game and when he came off he was very talkative to his team mates, offering support and...
no issue with what you have said...but he didn't make these sort of calls during the home and away...when in my opinion he could and should have. Strange time to do it I think, but that's the rod they have made for themselves.
Surprised by that change. Tim is a real honest player, good team man. Not sure he's a match winner we need though. Very strange time to make that change.
If Bobby does not play its a massive out.
Addison was prob about Willi's best last week. Everitt was ok against the pies and seems the logical choice but didn't play well last week at Willi. Reid looked hurt last week so I don't think he's a chance. Tom...would be a massive risk with so...
Yeah.....agree...if Hall can stand up and costs us nothing...then bring it on....and yeah maybe we can have out cake and eat it and develop the kids too.
