Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, West Coast
Richmond would be back in there with a little success.
Adelaide seems to have gone backwards the last few years but should return with the move to Adelaide Oval.
Geelong are next in line of the Vic clubs, Fremantle of the interstate clubs...
no pun intended :) just very disappointed in his game. obviously other supporters just accept his disposal.
hendo seems to be the whipping boy but he is a young player that can improve.
carazzo is not going to get any better and he will cost the blues in september if still getting a...
Good call. The heat certainly needs to be turned onto Carazzo. His disposal is terrible and not getting any better. Needs to be out of the team by September.
Very interesting stats.
Also shows how any "big 3 or 4" can change.
In the 50's and early 60's there was a "big 2" Melbourne and Collingwood.
By the late 60's through to the 80's the "big 3" were Richmond, Carlton and Collingwood.
In the 90's the "big 3" changed to Carlton, Essendon...
Personally I hate any jumper that includes an animal.
Hawthorn clash, Adelaide clash, Eagles all, Lions all (their original one with the smaller lion was ok), Bulldogs (please go back to the jumper worn in Ted Whitten's time), Geelong clash
Interesting post.
On those numbers you wonder why the AFL has moved Essendon and Carlton to the Docklands.
Would make more sense to have Collingwod, Carlton and Essendon all playing out of the MCG.
well written to both of the above.
Everytime we do one of these exercises I think you need alternatives rather than just bagging players.
For the record I would look at bringing in either Lucas or Armfield for Collins.
Obviously Kruezer comes in for Hampson once fit.
Also I was...
anyone who votes for watson obviously does not watch much footy.
watson is an excellent ball winner but cannot kick or run
murphy can win his own ball, kick and run
murphy easy:)
Honestly its Collingwood then a huge gap. Without Anzac Day Essendon would be behind Carlton.
To summarise its Collingwood then a gap to Carlton, Essendon and Richmond making up the top 4.
Melbourne and Geelong are on the next level followed by Hawthorn and St Kilda.
Since 1897 there have been 132 h&a games that have drawn a crowd of 70k+.
There were no games pre-1950's that drew 70k+ as the games were all played at the small suburban grounds aside from Melbourne.
In the 1950's Melbourne games against Collingwood at the MCG started to draw large...
Personally I love Collingwood supporters. Provide huge laughs.
For the first time in 80 years they have the best team in the comp and rather than enjoy this they complain when they do not win a brownlow???:D
Hope their natural negative attitude takes over and ruins what should be a...
Forgot about Luke Hodge being appointed captain. Another mistake. Very ordinary second half of the season. At best he is a HBF otherwise there is no room for him.
