I would also like to join in the chorus of excitement!!
2006 will mark my first Kangas game since the drubbing of Carlton in the final round of 2003 as I head back to Australia after 2 years here the UK next week.
Can't wait to see the boys running around again.
I see that the Walkabout in Shepherds Bush will be playing the match against Port on Monday night.
Any takers in joining me??? The last few times I have been for a game I have noticed a couple of North fans there.
Will be nice to meet some people from here as well.
well I have been looking into flights over the last few days from London to arrive during Grand Final week.
Won't book until one second after the preliminary final finishes though.
Thanks for the message guys.
Luckily I had an appointment for work out in Staines (Ali G territory!!) therefore didn't catch the tube. Normally around the time of the bomb going off I go through Russell Square and Kings Cross on my way to work in north London, so I am very thankful today that...
It's one the only negatives about being away from Australia is this match (and of course North matches), a highlight each year.
Well done to my mate Evo for running it so successfully.
tell me when your next gig is on and I will come along for sure.
Will I be seeing anybody at the Walkabout Shepherds Bush on Monday for the Kangas v Bombers match????
Hey Yianni, do you play in a band here in London do you?? If so I will come and check you out. I usually head to a gig at least once a week so that would be cool.
Actually heading to see Melbourne band the Casanovas tonight at the Islington Acadamy, should be rockin'!!
are you kidding?? Surely a Rugby League State of Origin game is more important then a crappy legends game. I am constantly amazed it isn't broadcast live into Melbourne, a disgrace!!.
By the way I just watched the Origin from my desk in London and it was fantastic!!!
Also each year in mid January, they have G'day LA week celebrating all things Australian. I happened to be there this year at that time and didn't notice anything 'Aussie' happening.
I am sure a team called the Kangaroos would be a fairly good drawcard though.
Sadly the Walkabout at Shepherds Bush is the only option, as its not the most desirable place to visit!!
I know the game against Richmond was shown on Monday night but I couldn't get along. I was there for the Port Adelaide game a few weeks ago, and it was awful with all the morons that...
good luck guys and I hope its a great game. Not all North Melbourne fans go on to the opposition boards and rubbish the team.
Well done on the season so far, but I hope we beat you guys though!!
Cheers, and Sammyg are you out there??? Are you in London tomorrow???
he has said a lot of things that have been written on this board by Kangas fans.
what's the problem????
For the record I always enjoy Lyon's comments, don't always agree but he usually has a very good things to say.
I haven't seen them as I am in a different hemisphere.
But sports a funny thing isn't it??
Usually doesn't across well whatever the scoreline or performance to whinge about a result. It never looks good!!
sitting at my desk in London and going crazy!!!!!
The new afl.com.au score update is great though, have done no work though and its midday!!!!!
would give anything to be there right now!!!
my membership pack arrived at home here in London yesterday but had to go out so I am yet to see the contents.
As I was up in Edinburgh for the easter weekend I did it tough on the weekend being round 1 and not being able to see a game for the 2nd year in a row. Although its a terrible place...
they are great and organise everything for me. Even looked after my flights from London to New York recently and got me a better price then any agent in London!!
I am going to be in London for Chrissy then fly to Slovenia on Boxing Day for a week of skiing with NYE at Lake Bled in the Julian Alps, something different!!!!
