Should be all over Hill. We are lacking small forwards. 27 for Hill would leave us with 1836 points. Would that be enough to cover Daicos and get Lipinski?
I would be happy to go into deficient and potentially slide back a pick or 2 next year and get a haul of Daicos, Kreguer, Lipinski and Hill.
Everything seems to be working out now.
After the doom and gloom we have a whole new coaching team, made an early trade to get points for Daicos, Kruger done for the equivalent of a pick in the 50s and just need to find the right pick for Lipinski. Hopefully we can look to trade 22 for a...
That’s a good point. But I guess in the scenario I was thinking, Gunston and Mihocek are the 2nd and 3rd tall with Cox taking the big defender, giving both room to do what they do best while De Goey roams free. I would like to keep Mihocek and get Gunston.
I mean fair enough. I’m just fan of Checkers when he can play as 3rd tall. And if we move Moore up front then we need to find another AA level tall defender?
I would love to get Gunston. Much prefer him to Brown. Gunston can create his own goals as well as mark and is mobile. Creates a dangerous forward line with a good mix of height and young guys improving next year for competition.
This would be my 22 and ideal trade window:

Not going to act like I know anything about him but Corr from gws is going to look at free agency according to triple m footy on Instagram. Would he be a good fit considering our lack of KPDs?
Was hoping to see Ruscoe in for WHE, I think he could do with a run in the twos. But Ruscoe isn’t even an emergency despite hitting the scoreboard in his games, interesting.
Not sure why everyone is so upset about one player. Sure it would be nice to have him, but we don’t, we still had a decent draft.
We back Kelly and Ruscoe to come good and draft another tall this year. If Riccardi wants to come home in a a few years then have a conversation then.
Said this in another thread but my mate was out in Freo on Saturday with McCarthys sister, saw him at the bar and spoke to him, seems that he’s very happy to play wafl, not sure there’s anything behind the reports.
My mate from Perth was out in Freo on Saturday and bumped into McCarthy. He knows his sister too so they were talking. Said he’d be happy playing wafl however this may have changed since Saturday?
I wonder if we could look to trade our first and a player or two such as Elliot, WHE, Phillips to North or Hawks for their first pick. In our best 22 and would help them through a rebuild.
I know missing Riccardi is annoying, best thing we can do now is to trade up and hit the draft, get the best available plus McInnes.
If Riccardi keeps improving, try and target him to come home next year?
Hoskin-Elliot has been a passenger recently. Give him a rest in the 2s and bring in
Out: Cameron, Mayne, WHE
In: Ruscoe, Greenwood, De Goey/Bianco/Rantall
Can we figure out a way to have some depth something like this next season please. Couple of trade names I like.
Thoughts on pushing Cameron back if we bring in a KPF?

If we can trade up and get a draft hand of 2 first rounders plus McInnes, while also jumping on some young out of contract players like Collier-Dawkins, Petruccelle, Stack, etc that’d be huge and set up up very well going forward.
If we managed to get Beams, Shaz, Cox, Dunn, Reid, Broomhead, Wills, Varcoe, etc off the list, trade a key piece like Treloar and replace them with a draft like Macrae, McInnes and Callow plus a trade like Collier-Dawkins or a key tall then that’s a big win
Who would take Treloar? Doubt he’d want to leave Melbourne having just had a kid. Love him but would swap for a first rounder if an offer came in considering his hammies.
I agree that he hasn’t lived up to his potential. BUT, in that hypothetical steak knives where we could get a top draft tall, McInnes, and Schache as a backup option to replace Cox and Reid? Wouldn’t say no.
Dogs have a hard run in, if they finish 12/13/14th a pick swap would be good for both. They match their academy kid and a top pick next year they can actually use. We hopefully draft one of the best talls in the draft, McInnes and daicos next year. Win win for both clubs.
Steak knives Schache...
I wouldn’t say no to Wright or Schache if we were only giving up say 3rd round picks.
I think that we need to try for one of the talls in the draft, Mcdonald, Cox, etc plus Reef.
If we trade for some young tall depth while still drafting an elite KPF and move on Reid and our Cox I’d be all...
Yeah I agree, not saying that Adams and Treloar are close to done but if we can potentially bring in 2/3 top 10 picks in the next 2 drafts plus trading it’s the time to go hard.
Also agree, if there was a decent trade available for WHE or Phillips I’d take it otherwise they’re great to have at...
Think we definitely need to be a bit more ruthless this trade period.
I’d be moving on all these guys at minimum:
Beams, Shaz, Cox, Dunn, Reid, Broomhead, Wills, Varcoe.
Open to offers for WHE and Phillips.
We should be looking at richmonds list of rookies; Stack, Collier-Dawkins and Chol...
