"Why do all these players seem to have problems with gambling" - Gil
"GET YOUR MONEY BACK IF ONE LEG OF YOUR MULTI ON PROBLEM GAMBLERS IN THE AFL FAILS" - Also Gil
Being 'available' and 'fit to play' are two different things I'd say.
Just coz you've come back from injury doesn't mean you're up to playing a senior match...or Grand Final.
But we're splitting hairs, what's done is done!
Love a late round dice roll!
Looks to be an interesting pick. Noticed Quaynor commenting on Collingwood's Instagram post of him and his family - the love is there already!
Prioritise May over Beams please.
Pick 18 and a second rounder next year is overs for a player who will be 29 before he pulls the boots on for us again - as much as I'd love to see it.
The romantic in me says "get him home, cost be damned" but the pragmatist in me says "doesn't really fill a need, only has a few years of good footy left, not worth giving away a decent pick for."
Maybe we'll get lucky and Brisbane will "do the right thing" like we did
Other than a couple moments and an unlucky bounce, he was a rock...again.
Seems to have taken Tooves mantle as backline whipping boy, hope we sign him up asap.
Comeback story of the year, absolutely warrior.
He'll rise to the occasion. I remember a couple aeasons back his effort against Freo with one shoulder cook and kept throwing himself into contest after contest as we held on to win in a thriller.
Would leave the pitch in a coffin for the club...
For what it's worth, I don't think there's a snowballs chance in Hell that the Suns let Lynch and May both leave this year.
They'll throw crazy money at May to keep him, for the sake of the brand at least.
I'd prefer May over Lynch.
Dunn is almost done (heh), Reid is unreliable to say the least, Shaz is no certainty to ever play consistent footy, and Moore looks to be out the door.
May could be the cornerstone of our backline for the next 6-8 years.
Glad this is put to bed and we can focus on retaining existing players and targetting others.
Lynch was never the Messiah (just a naughty, naughty boy), and while he would have been a great get I feel like what we would have to sacrifice wouldn't balance with his actual output.
Sign up Moore ffs.
Wouldn't be surprised if he's on the plane to Freo given its a home town visit for him and Stephenson probably needs a breather on the run into finals.
With the quality we're missing I don't see how Richmond bottles this one. The likes of Treloar and JDG will be massively missed.
Hope to be proven wrong, but just don't see us as having any chance against them.
