What I gleaned out of this is I would have thought we wouldn’t be doing any deals with WC on Friday until we knew we couldn’t land Reid (or we’d have that as part of the deal).
Yes I’m sure it can be done separately with WC but unlikely imo.
IF this is accurate info.
I’m not sure you’ve posted anything of note.
RnL posts at least commit to something and it’s pretty self explanatory that until HFC says something it won’t be confirmed.
Yes I’ve read some of their threads but GCs pick still effects us was my point.
I also think that not picking talent on the basis that 3 players may develop or may lead to salary cap issues is poor list management.
Suggest you read your own posts.
We need a key forward and GCS pick and access to Walter is a huge difference to us.
Also if GC can get another pick in before a Walter bid it will push us down another pick.
None of what you wrote is correct.
North seriously need players in positions other than midfield. Not sure why they would take McKercher instead of Duursma/Curtin.
Reading all the comments in various threads about Hawthorns needs for forwards but expecting North to just bypass one of the best available?
After seeing some of Neds second efforts he’d want to put in a big pre season.
Lumbering ruckman are being phased out right now. He needs another cog in his game. Using his height, marking and smashing some packs.
I think our midfield is good not great and lacks a goal kicking midfielder. A grade elite talent.
Only reason McKercher is not being mentioned is because we believe he won’t be on the board. I’m hoping that’s not the case.
It would be mad not to take best available at this stage of a rebuild...
Bulldogs team actually made the GF and had it on their terms and blew it.
I agree that you do need forwards however I”d be taking best available of the three.
McKercher/Duursma/Watson.
Go all in on forwards through FA the following year.
