Kudos goes to Jack Riewoldt who single handily kept us in it.

Couple of gripes:
- Conca. Not sure what the appeal is. Medium paced outside butcher of the ball who lays a mean tackle, but then coughs up the kick.
- Rance of DeGoey
- Caddy, Martin and Riewoldt flying for the same ball constantly
- Dan Rioli's shithouse pressure. Jas Castagna has some hatters but at least he ran defensively.
- Jack Graham. What's the appeal again?

First time I’ve ever seen salt this deep.

You had 1.5 players on the field tonight. Collingwood had 22.

Worst thing though was one game in 26 days. Too long to be thinking about a winning a game before you had it done.

Poor finals system. Shouldn’t have to wait to play so losing teams get a second chance. Where’s our second chance? Collingwood got one!

Jack, cotch, Toby, kamdyn , George get a pass

Dusty was hurt, Astbury put his hand up when he wasn’t right, selfish

Conca a mistake, and we are gonna lose BEllis over it

Dimma outcoached but has credits in the bank

Can’t take players into a final unless they are fit

This is where richmond supporters come to drosn their sorrows. If you have a problem with that, don't bother to read the thread. The fact you felt the need to post says it all.

Couple of momentum killers in the last when we were really pressing, Lambert drops an easy chest mark and Grigg clumsily tackled Mayne high. We were flying at that stage and it just finished us off.

We had to lose sooner or later, good on the guys to put up some fight after getting smacked in the first half, in the end I think expectation simply caught up to us.

Bad luck campaigners
You will always be the number 2 club in the AFL behind the mighty Piee.

Pretty hard to believe we’d leave out BEllis - a premiership experienced player over Conca. Not the reason we lost but Conca has a golden opportunity to make a statement that he belonged in this side. He offered nothing tonight and I wonder if BEllis would have given us more despite his flaws

It is time to get the midfield right again with some proper competitors. Someone else said it but Caddy would do well to lose some muscle to get a small amount of speed into his game. We were rattled in the first 10 minutes and just couldn't bring it together.

We are now probably going to cop a barrage from opposition supporters all off-season and you know what? You reap what you sow. If any of us are going to be arrogant and obnoxious to others, we better be able to handle when it comes flying right back at us.
Report button works,

Anyways guys, I just wanted to say it was fun... and what I mean by that is the AFL. Born in 87 winning a flag was a lifelong dream of mine and I got to watch it in the flesh. BUT if these new rule changes 666 and the bigger donger, that’s me done forever. Not the best game to end on but oh well it’s better than watching some tv network sport that doesn’t resemble the game I once loved.
