I simply don't like the idea of two rucks sharing 50% gametime with the bench.
One injury anywhere else and we are down to 2 midfield rotations.

You would think both would play forward 20-30%. We were always one decent tall target in front of the ball. 2 short when one of Membrey or Bruce were off. Having more midfield options like Jones, grey, Clark will allow mids to rest forward/back more often, aiding rotations.

Lethers on SEN- couldn’t have been any stronger that Bruce is contracted and wanted unless we have any replacement. Onus squarely on the Dogs to find something very suitable but at the moment we expect he’ll be playing Round 1.

Hill - Bell and Gallagher been in talks for a while. Shouldn't be any issues. Prepared to pay a good price. Be nice to split picks but maybe not possible. 5 years correct, money not...

Jones - preference to come to the Saints

Bruce - Much loved player, wasn't encouraged to test the market. Would like him at the Saints, needs to be a good deal. Looking for a replacement to play forward or an appropriate deal. Pick 34 won't get it done.

Acres - No one asking about Blake

Newnes - FA, contract in front of him. Assessing his options. Not a pressing one at the minute

Butler - Had a chat to him. We have interest.

Bing - Clear cut, Ben will play at GC next year. Will talk to him next year.

Paddy is an ongoing case. Sensitive one very conscious of supporting him and he is regularly in contact with him.

Jack S very important player for us. Cats need to facilitate a trade that reflects his importance to us. Hasn’t made a definitive call to go and we’d happily keep him.
