I'm not trolling either, but I honestly question the intelligence of anyone who is invested in the tabloid media to the point that they entertain it.

What's more, I wouldn't support any such thing for StKilda either.

I don't think its really a matter of intelligence to be on top of other teams financial circumstances. I know that St Kilda certainly weren't viable 5 years ago without AFL assistance and we would still be touch and go. The AFL funding keeps a few clubs afloat and all it would take was the AFL to make that funding conditional upon relocation to make a tabloid hypothetical a serious reality.

Crouch will make a big difference to our side, but I’m so meh about recruiting him.

Undoubtedly I’ll fire up when our midfield starts turning games, I guess I was looking for more outside flash than inside grunt.

Their fans say he’s their best mid in one breath, but in the next are happy to trade him for pick 2. Failing that, they’ll condescend to take him back!

Compensation, if it remains in the future, should really only come in after the bottom 10 teams have each had their first pick.

I like the nfl compensation system, the picks start with 3rd round picks.

I’m gobsmacked that you can have a player on your books for so long fail to re-sign them often making little to no effort yet get a first round pick to the detriment of other clubs.

Maybe we shouldn't trade Webster for a 4th, we should see try and find a way to get him to forfeit his contract and get signed on the same coin as a free agent, should get a late first going by Crouch and Daniher.
