There is no difference between end of 1st round compensation & 2nd round compo pick for Adelaide.

So maybe we knew they weren't getting Band 1, so pulled back the base $$, offered him long length and heavily incentivised?


As fun as it is to speculate that we screwed over Adelaide, it's in both clubs best interests to work amicably on this.

Pay him lower, agreed by both clubs that it will go to trade, and we just downgrade our 1st to their compo? Something like that makes sense.
