Am I the only one questioning the band 2 comp claim? Everything else states that the compensation isnt known until the contract is either matched or not matched. If the clubs themselves arent told then why do some media nuffies claim they do? Its not like they get much actually correct anymore.

This deal has probably already been done and where we don’t really give a rats about the minor points they really seem to.

It will be interesting to see how they react if things work out pretty much as expected with a minor later deal to even things up. In the main we‘ll shrug, they will probably still be hoping we have a third wave of covid and wishing a pox on the club, the AFL and all victorians.

All because they had deluded themselves into believing they would get pick two as compensation for a good but not great mid that they didn’t really have much love for.
