He needs to start focusing on the basic’s again rather than trying to do the impressive things thinking that’s how he keeps his spot.

Agreed, he has some thing about him. I would love to see him play good football. I just worry he might never feel comfortable and he belongs in the afl enviroment. As you said, hope he goes back to basics and builds confidence from there, his x factor which naturally happen.

Maybe he was one of the players who struggled with living in the hub. I think well see Tim Membrey will be back to his best next year, when he can get away from the club. My mate, his brothers love fishing. They sit out on their tinnies, quiet just chucking lines in for hours. I would imagine it would be similar for Skunk and his get away from football.

Anyone else watching the Adelaide forum hoping for some whispers?
Looks like they’re going through the 5 stages of grief, I think after all the Billing’s + next year first talk they’ve just gone past the bargaining stage. Acceptance soon though.

Can’t seem to find many whispers, looks pretty lockdown (makes sense). Hoping we walk away if they match, not too keen on paying overs for a RFA even if he’ll be a great fit.

Crouch wants out. Don't believe the BS. Like all the blokes that have left. All due to the pre season camp mostly that was run by that weird arse utter nuffie organisation. Worst pre season ever conducted by a sporting club in Australia.
The only other one that comes close , was also Adelaide , on a pre-season camp. The fire walk that gave Crow Nigel Smart , 1st degree burns... Unbelievable ! Remarkable thing is someone had to jump in to stop whoever was second in line from doing it. Crows are definitely out there

There was this little tidbit in the last 15 mins or so ..

"OK...I got the word from a former Crow player this morning that the Crows will accept St Kildas offer...meaning they won’t match it.
I won’t elaborate further on the source but it’s very reliable. "

If this was true ...can we speculate on what our offer might be ?

I’m not happy about the one year offer to Lonie, I like the replacement of Higgins for Lonie even less. When you are always bringing in guys from other clubs your forget the guys you have. Lonie is a very popular member of the group and has been with us from the start of the rebuild. Your removing part of the teams soul and identity and I do not like it one bit. Also people underate what he does on the field . Multiple times he’s stuck his body o ln the line and stood up when no body else is.

This is the way the AFL is now. Been threatening for years referring to clubs as ‘franchises’ etc. Soon enough it will be like the NBA where it’s common for players to have 4 clubs in a career.

As we can see it’s better to copy America in everything, that country is going quite well at the moment.

Wooooooow

In the 32 years I have lived in Melbourne about 6 times.
Anyway how friggen hard is it? Move to the left wait for the lights to change and turn. FMD its not rocket surgery.

It's not even rocket science. ;)
( Once in 26 years, personally)

Kane Cornes is a fantastic sh*t stirrer.

When did Adam Kelly say that?

I kind of feel bad for that Chase kid in the Brad Crouch thread. I feel like he’s really young and Crouch is his favourite player and he’s not sure how to handle him leaving.

Brad Crouch says he is hopeful Adelaide won’t match a bid from St Kilda and allow him to join the Saints.

The Crows have said they would be prepared to match a bid from the Saints for Crouch and force a trade if the compensation for the midfield star was less than Pick No. 2.

The Saints contract to Crouch has not triggered the tier of compensation required for the second pick of the draft and the Crows have until Wednesday to decide if they will match the bid.

Arriving back in Adelaide from Queensland, Crouch said he was hopeful the Crows would not match any bid from the Saints.

“I’ve told St Kilda I’m fully committed to them, so I want to see that out,” he said.

“At this stage I just want to be at St Kilda and the decision I’ve made I’m fully committed to them.”
