You wont get him for that
Maybe but it sounds like they're practically forcing them out the door so I hope we are asking the question.

Look what happened with Treloar last year.

So Gold Coast gave away a priority pick so they could stop paying a 25 game, sub 20 disposal mid 600K?

He's never played more than 6 games in a row.

My god, fold that ridiculous franchise, what a waste of everyones time.

I think the AFL should have stopped it. Honestly, it was given to them to trade in ready made players I think and all it’s done is benefit Freo. Surely there’s an integrity issue basically giving another club a first rounder together with a player as a salary dump?

Have said they want a 1st rounder top 10 pick

Not a chance they get that.
Bucks hit the nail on the head a couple of years ago when asked why he didn’t tag him - gets the ball heaps but not very damaging with it.

Once clubs start this game it can turn on them very quickly. I'm just saying I hope were keeping an ear to the grindstone. If they want him out, maybe the player will suddenly say stuff it then I'll go!

We've just lost a Brownlow Medalist in Dunstan so to get one in would mean we at least break even.

I think given we have very little to trade and seem locked in to a strategy that involves bing next year we’re best watching to see if anything stupid comes up late. Every year someone gets traded late for peanuts or some unlikely pick swap happens, would Darcy tucker be of interest to us.

Isn't Tom Mitchell like a slightly worse version of Dunstan?

Mitchell is an A grade mid - or at least close to it. His back half of the season was as good as any mid in the comp.

Racks up possessions like few others and was the main reason Hawthorn finished the season so well.

Or even just keep our ear to the ground 🤔

Let Gags keep his nose to the grindstone

See I always hear people saying "Tom Mitchell never hurts you with his disposal". Dunstan, on the other hand, we can all attest has "hurt us" with his disposal at one point or another

Mitchell use to get a lot of meaningless possessions, but was much more damaging this year than he got credit for. Early gets he would get mid 30s but 25 of them were handballs sideways. He has a lot more balance with his disposals now.

The only comparison to Dunstan is they are both midfielders.
