Some good points but you may underarm Cumming, impressive young talent
Wasn't underselling Cumming, I made no comment - looks a likely type, but he's pretty unproven still....

Sunday 15 May
Summary Min 16 Max 25 Shower or two. Possible rainfall: 0 to 2 mm Chance of any rain: 50%
Sydney area
Cloudy. The chance of morning fog, mostly in the west. Medium (50%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Light winds.
I see it differently. I don't think we need to look to upgrade him to get better. He is good enough to be part of our Premiership side. His mistakes infuriate me because he is a very good kick and he goes for some lazy kicks across the body or off a step and they are always inside our defensive 50. It's lairy and unnecessary. They are just goal giveaways.
I believe I was the first one on this board to scan opposition lists and identify Newman as a cheap trade option several months before we got him. I do recognise errors in players I have backed in though. I recognise he is not quick, not an aerialist, doesn't play short or tall. His kicking and experience are his best traits.
At the moment, he is handy. Long term, he is a placeholder.

Cloudy, with a chance of snags...site needs more weather forecasts..............fmd.............

He has a good balance of defence and attack.
I think his sideways kicks tend to result in opening up the field and would have a license to do it. Don't think it's lazy
We’ve never beaten them there … the only thing that holds GWS back is they’re lazy … but when they have something to play for they usually lift … they really should win … let’s see if we can flip the script …4th vs 15th and somehow were not favourites to win wtf lol.
GWS has swung a change ahead of Sunday’s clash against Carlton with Jesse Hoganto miss through illness.PLAYERCARDSTART23Jesse Hogan

Fellow forward Jake Riccardi has been brought in to replace Hogan. The 22-year-old is coming off an eleven-goal fortnight in the reserves, including a nine-goal outing last week.
4th vs 15th and somehow were not favourites to win wtf lol.
I seem to be the only person who thinks Newman makes terrific decisions and is generally great disposal.
His mistakes don't infuriate me any more than any other player. Every player has them and he doesn't do it any more than others.
Defensively and positioning very strong.
Unheralded IMO
Nice. Though Riccardi is a decent replacement. I'm hoping we can poach him end of year.
4th vs 15th and somehow were not favourites to win wtf lol.
Also us losing our CHF and CHB, replacing them with inexperienced players, I think the odds are against us a bit.The statistics of departing coach team wins are overwhelming. The bookies know this well.
Looks like a cool front moving in.site needs more weather forecasts..............fmd.............
See if he can perform against AFL quality opposition this time around. That's been his issue so far, other than his first couple of games.Yep the guy kicked 9 last week and still couldn't make the team without an injury occurring! That's gotta be prime poaching material.
Also us losing our CHF and CHB, replacing them with inexperienced players, I think the odds are against us a bit.
Which would make winning up there all the more special.

Correct and Sydney hasn't been dry since january....Correct me if I am wrong but Olympic Park, or the Showgrounds is at Homebush, really only half way between the CBD and Parramatta proper....
Next door to Concord, Concord West etc..only about 10 clicks or so out of the CBD?
