I'm all for going after De Goey. We have enough shy, vanilla role players and are in desperate need of an arrogant, game-breaking mid who kicks goals. We probably don't land Amon or Lobb if we take De Goey but he'd be my top preference of those three.

The New York Times had an article yesterday about Australian English and the work by ANU to create an Australian English Dictionary.
Naturally they provided a few examples of Australian English for their readers.
This example, however, was sadly lacking.
Mores the pity, given that it would be incomprehensible to the average New Yorker.

Doesn't matter , our kids ( and George ) are all trying to emulate the extemporary language skills of Black American HipHop artists. It will all be gone soon.
I just hope we never lose "pull your head in".
There was a guy on the Essendon team who had been on their list 5 minutes who played better than some of our guys.

Listening to Gerard Whatley on SEN lead the chorus of lynching against De Goey, is it just me or is it about time someone tell him his self righteous trumpeting represents a really small group of church going moral crusaders in this country.

I'm not a moral crusader so I'm only interested in footballers who can make us better and there is no doubt he would make us significantly better. He hasn't done anything illegal so shouldn't be anyone's business what he does in his private life.

What a thing to say. Could go back literally 10 years and dredge up posts saying the exact same thing about Dusty Martin, who wanted to come to the Saints but Watters put the kabosh on it.
I don't want DeGoey as a friend, I want to him to play football well ad help us win games. Same as any player.
The reason I don't want DeGoey is because we have more pressing needs, like umm MIDS. Look at Hill on the weekend, almost our best player, played a very goo game, but the mids were so woeful it made no difference. We have players like Hill, like Gres, etc who are X factor players but if we don't have the meat and potatoes grunt workers doing their job, they are ineffective.
Have cried out for years for mids, but lets spend all our capital on a half forward. Makes sense.
I think GW is held up as some beacon of morals and somehow is given license to run human beings into the ground relentlessly and promote the pile on and for the life of me I can't think of too many people I know in this world except for church going God botherers who live thier lives like GW does. His absolute assassination of the cricketers involved in the sandpaper incident was disgraceful. It's as though he's an authorised bully.
There is no evidence that she attended a school at or after the time Gilbert met her.
I accept that she may have at some point done a Tafe course in eyelashes.
But the StKilda TafeGirl doesn't have the same negative connotations.

If you're referring to Ginivin and the other bloke, it's important to note they were rating FAKE hot women. It's a dumb tiktok trend that women usually do (rating fake men).
The media should be ashamed of the way they've reported on this.
There is evidence that DeGoey was training everyday in Bali with a Collingwood fitness trainer, sticking to his program and doing everything required.
I don't know there is evidence that he doesn't train hard apart from reports he came back to training at not the required fitness
