Sydney also looking at another injury prone defender in Saints Nick Coffield who when fit is a very decent and skilful footballer, similarly Brisbane are looking at both players apparently. Brisbane's fitness and medical staff really fancy themselves at getting these types of players right....Nakia Cockatoo looking to be a fail though it's not from a lack of trying with him.

The brother of re-signed GWS free agent Harry Himmelberg has dominated in the SANFL as a key forward averaging 6.5 score involvements as well as kicking 18 goals.

He has one more year on his deal and the Crows are looking for more talls and key defenders so he’s no certainty to move clubs.

I think every Club in that scenario improves their starting 22 given their current state of play.

I suggested we go after Hurn as a coach this time last year. He seems to be really switched on and knows his footy. Has been involved with successful teams too which always helps.

I understand the debate about cost and opportunity cost around McCluggage but I feel that if the opportunity became possible this year, we no option than to take it. McCluggage would be a terrific acquisition to our midfield.

The risk of waiting and hoping for McCluggage AND this years draftees would be too great for me.
