Just saying if the AFL really want to compensate us for the Sydney goal thing and give us a first for Doedee compo that they know will be given to Melbourne to help them facilitate golden boy Harley Reid to play at a big Vic club..... that would be erm quite good

I think you move Pedlar on long before you consider Fogarty. Ditto Michalanny. Nothing against either, however we live and die on our forward line in this window regardless what occurs with Oliver and forward lines are driven by their key forwards. It also leaves open to move Thilthorpe to ruck, if we're infatuated with the idea of having the next Grundy.

Really, the only untradable players would be Thilthorpe, Rankine, Dawson, Rachele and Fogarty.

As much as he has a contract lasting until free agency, a standout option if this comes down to moving a top-tier kid on would be Soligo.
I wouldn't move on Pedlar. Will be one of our best in a couple of years. Rachele or Thilthorpe are not untouchable imo.

Sad fact is that players like Oliver don't leave Melbourne if they have the option to stay, and he'll have every other club in Victoria as an option.

Probably end up at Geelong with a few off-field money hats business opportunities and a bit of help from the AFL allowing them to trade first round picks for the next 8 years.

No he wont..

Not every other vic club would have salary cap space to fit him in.. and the draft capital to satisfy the dees..

In fact.. most of them wouldnt..
