I mean, we got a future 3rd for Frampton, it might not be completely out of play for EH

Well people are talking band 1 level contract for Ben McKay, beggars belief really. Just glad we aren’t in the mix, but does show the added value of height.I don't see how we get a 2nd round pick, future or otherwise, for a guy who has played 41 games in 6 years. Career best 14 goals from 11 games in 2022. 3 games for 1 goal this year. He's never going to be better than depth at any club in the league. Contracted or not, GWS aren't going overpay for a player like this.
If it was the other way around and we were looking at bringing him in from GWS, would we be happy to give up a 2nd rounder?
Doubt we would pick #53, unless we are using it trade on.I highlighted the pick that will get it done
Gollant isn't going to succeed at AFL level, until he softens his hands
We should be chatting to Sydney if Doedee selects them to up their FA (Daniher style where he subsequently extended on lower $'s pa) & we can give them the pick for Hayward.People here forget the old Swannies are pretty professional. They don’t suffer fools and they don’t gift games.
Whatever you blokes might think of his raw stats, young Hayward has been a constant in a pretty successful system. Would walk into the crows 22. Good recollection of Will from school days. He’ll make your team better
hands down the most overrated player (by this board) on our list. Still trying to work out what his elite traits are.Gollant isn't going to succeed at AFL level, until he softens his hands
If Strachan goes he'd be an option...but you do realise even in the VFL GWS Academy rookie Nick Maddern has gone past Flynn so I doubt Flynn is in their plans going forwardSo..we need a back up ruck and Flynn is on the outer..a swap for himmelberg solves a problem we have
Frampton was contracted?I mean, we got a future 3rd for Frampton, it might not be completely out of play for EH
So it's happening then?Sydney are looking to do a player swap for Hayward.
Nah... depth is worth way more than a literal nothing pick... especially ones that are contracted ... tall ruck forwards are very rare... he has value.I highlighted the pick that will get it done
They can have Murph or McHenry or both.Sydney are looking to do a player swap for Hayward.
The VFL mouthpieces have been sprouting this from the start - despite not knowing who the bidding clubs were or the likely contract details. They did this so the VFL could justify gifting North more high end picks.Well people are talking band 1 level contract for Ben McKay, beggars belief really. Just glad we aren’t in the mix, but does show the added value of height.
Hmmm, but who do they want? They value Hayward very highly, so will probably ask for Thilthorpe.Sydney are looking to do a player swap for Hayward.
If we bring Chol in then he replaces Berg as our tall ruck forward depthNah... depth is worth way more than a literal nothing pick... especially ones that are contracted ... tall ruck forwards are very rare... he has value.
No, but Frampton also played more AFL games in his final yearFrampton was contracted?
Says who? because if that's credible... see ya, Doedee...Sydney are looking to do a player swap for Hayward.
IFIf we bring Chol in then he replaces Berg as our tall ruck forward depth
IFNo, but Frampton also played more AFL games in his final year
Also, if Chol does in fact nominate us, it takes away the ‘need KPF depth’ argument
My guess is if Chol doesn’t nominate us, EH doesn’t leave. If he does nominate us, we’ll get a pick equivalent to somewhere in the mid 40’s to early 50’s
Wait, this a genuine rumour?Sydney are looking to do a player swap for Hayward.
??? I outlined both possible scenarios
