I am wondering how we are selling the move to Chol if we are targeting him. Are we planning on him coming as depth cover only if we get injuries to one of our key talls? Or are we telling him he will be in our starting 22. We will be very top heavy up forward if he plays alongside Tex, Fog and TT.
Well they subbed out ROB in a milestone game....Ran TT in the ruck ....Maybe a Chol/TT ruck forward combo

I think the ruck combo of TT and Chol would work well. But I can't see that happening straight away, so unless we plan on playing 4 tall forwards, Chol will be depth to start with.

Can west coast be any more incestual... bring in fresh blood and culture. Luke shuey is part of the problem there as a player... continues it as a coach im sure

Agree with you about our pitch to him. It's the one thing that makes me dubious the trade would suit both parties.

...unless you drop ROB and play TT as 1st ruck...

I have the feeling Nicks wants to move TT out of the forward line more frequently. Chol would allow this to occur and perhaps add some x factor and even more flexibility in our tall brigade. Chol could also rotate into the Ruck. Would also potentially allow us to move past Walker long term. Imagine Chol and Hayward into our forward line. Teams would have a nightmare with their defensive strategies.

FF: Hayward, Fogarty, Chol
HF: Rankine, Walker, Rachele

Players rotating in throughout the match Pedlar, Berry, Keays, Thilthorpe plus other midfielders.

There simply isnt a weak link and each player could kick a bag on a mismatched defender.

Why would sydney do that though?
They could get Doedee and a pick (or another player)

The rumour mill is Haywards being shopped around to clear up cap space. His name just didnt appear because we are Adelaide and we made it up. The initial reports had Hayward is up for trade before the crows were even linked. So swans supporters dreaming of pick 9 is laughable when it could be the swans have to clear him out. Waiting until end of his contract may not be what they want to do with their list strategy.

We won't trade ROB and I wish him no harm but a prolonged absence of half a season or longer would be a fascinating experiment to see how TT adapted as first ruck.

Regarding Hayward, I'd like to see Gollant given a proper opportunity. But I understand that talent should be brought in when available.

But anyway...

I'd rather we were talking midfield though...
