F£€k me the crazy hype around Ledger anyway we got to see him in the seniors.. the blow ups if didn’tSpot on. That’s the biggest difference from the Richo/Watters years. Back then, none of the kids looked like or threatened to become A graders. They ranged from solid B graders to delist material. Remember when the likes of Ledger, Spencer White and Dunnel were our high hopes?
Agreed, only losers play golfThis isn’t like golf
Drafting is far more sophisticated now with the TAC cup a good sounding for the players and the draft combine sorts out any players weakness's.F£€k me the crazy hype around Ledger anyway we got to see him in the seniors.. the blow ups if didn’t![]()
And funnily enough Nas wasn’t even a top 10 draft picDrafting is far more sophisticated now with the TAC cup a good sounding for the players and the draft combine sorts out any players weakness's.
So you can really compare past players to current players data and really screw down on who they think can cut it.
We have also have improved our recruitment staff and they are starting to really find some gems.
Nas looks to be one of our best top 10 draft picks we have had in a very long time and with getting Owens and Windhager in the same draft it looks to be one of our best drafts in a very long time and we have not even seen the likes of Keller , Hotton , Adams or Els.
Add Hotton and Keeler to that group once they break into the team and we’ll be the draft kingsAnd funnily enough Nas wasn’t even a top 10 draft pic
He would definitely be top 10 on a redraft though. As would Owens.
Windy has shown first rounder quality too.
We did very well.
Totally. The whole reason it's called GOLF in the first place is because you only play it if you're a backwards flog.Agreed, only losers play golf
Coffield unlikely to be at the saints next year
I wouldn’t be trading Wood. Seems to be good for club culture and one of the few genuine leaders around the club.If we're going full rebuild then Hill and Wood should both be added to the gettable list as well in my opinion.
Howard has very good trade value Sydney sniffing around. If the plan is to trade out players for first round draft picks than it already sounds flawed to me.
One, we don't really have anyone of value outside of possibly Gresham and two, the draft looks quite average and shallow this year.
I think the only way we get something decent for Gresham is if he goes to a bottom side with plenty of cap space.
Unfortunately we have missed the boat with Clark, Coff is worth very little and no one is giving up a first for Howard.
The only way I see it happening is trading out a heap of players and hoping we can put all those picks together to move up the draft, which is never easy and is going to put a decent hole in the list to get a pick in an average draft.
Agree here, Wood stay's until he retires he has been good for the younger guy's coming through.I wouldn’t be trading Wood. Seems to be good for club culture and one of the few genuine leaders around the club.
He cuts his own hair and lives in a caravan outside AFL eating cat food and spending all his money on paying for the drinks of different club insiders, but I do appreciate his dry wit, and he's pretty on the money with his work.Twomey is an amateur darts player
They desperately need a backman - were hoping for Barrass, but he bizarrely chose to participate in this intriguing art instalation called "West Coast Eagles In Freefall" (Adam Simpson, 2020-2023)Howard has very good trade value Sydney sniffing around.
They will have a crack a McKay. There first would have to be in the conversation for Howard. This was my mail as well. They desperately need a backman - were hoping for Barrass, but he bizarrely chose to participate in this intriguing art instalation called "West Coast Eagles In Freefall" (Adam Simpson, 2020-2023)
he's 3 years older than owens tho?

What is the argument going on about Newcombe? Both can be guns can't they?

I was concerned about frustration driven cunning plans and that’s exactly what it’s shaping up to be.I reckon we'd want to replace him first. It looks like a classic Saints move where you pay a lot for a player, sell them cheap then panic buy another B grader for more than you got for the guy you got rid of.
Based off their current picks, it's very unlikely they part with their first rounder for Howard. They will have a crack a McKay. There first would have to be in the conversation for Howard. This was my mail as well.
It doesn't make a lot of sense. The turnover being discussed is North at rockbottom levels or what West Coast is now being forced to do.Why the * are we going full rebuild. Not sure I've got it in me to start again.
