Its a different scenario at 7 & 8 than it was with NWM draft at pick 11.

If what Twomey suggests eventuates, it will be an absolute flipping disaster in my view! The club would have completely out smarted itself almost akin to Norths Launceston win when they missed out on Harley Reid. Not one midfielder in the top 8 picks is nothing short of a shocking result for a club with the worst midfield in the competition.

Then changed it in his late mail.

However he nailed the first 7 picks until GwS traded down.

Funnily enough at a quick glance it seems like we were the first pick he changed in his late mail, had us switching from Wilson to DiMattea.

Looks like it is Tarau and Trav.

Hopefully our backline is good enough to make up for a complete lack of a midfield lol

Cals Phantom Draft is what I'd like to call a worst case scenario.

Considering how much the North recruiter praised Tauru today, I'd be genuinely surprised and almost shocked if they didn't take him or trade down still.

It may seem like last minute panic buying, but I'd consider trading with Adelaide for those 3 future 3rds that they have. Give them pick 32 to on trade to North if it meant North take Tauru and we get Draper.

It's out of our control, but you'd be kidding yourself I'd you said you were happy that none of the mids slid to our two picks.

Both Travaglia and Tauru are great players I would be happy with them. Maybe there is midfielder later in the draft we can turn into a star
