Pick 1...
Yes please stay away from him.Haha… There are no real stand outs from your vfl this season? Davidson looks OK but I’m not so sure we go for someone that raw

Interesting that spicer has nominated 18mths. His form hasn’t been electrifying that’s for sure. But I can see why there may be some interest in him.Amongst those nominating longer than minimum terms...
Felix Flockhart
Max Hall
Jack Hutchinson
Remy McLean
Will McLachlan
Milan Murdock
Toby Murray
Geordie Payne
Jasper Scaife
Oscar Smartt
Iliro Smit
Phoenix Spicer
Frank Szekely
Brynn Teakle
El Nour was the standout but being out for 2 months injured will hurt his chances.Haha… There are no real stand outs from your vfl this season? Davidson looks OK but I’m not so sure we go for someone that raw
He's quick and gets to ground balls and can apply decent pressure (just close your eyes when he kicks it because it often looks like he does)Interesting that spicer has nominated 18mths. His form hasn’t been electrifying that’s for sure. But I can see why there may be some interest in him.
I think those highlighted are a decent chance of getting 18 monthsAmongst those nominating longer than minimum terms...

Geordie Payne is potentially the first pickI think those highlighted are a decent chance of getting 18 months
Will McLachlan ?I'll attempt a R1 phantom draft, but I probably won't get it anywhere close to accurate:
Round 1:
1. North Melbourne: Geordie Payne
2. Richmond: Jacob Blight
3. West Coast: Noah Howes
4. St. Kilda: Max Hall
5. Hawthorn: Luke Beecken
6. Brisbane: Trey Ruscoe
7. Adelaide: Kobe Ryan
8. Western Bulldogs: Trent Bianco
9. Gold Coast: Felix Flockhart
10. Fremantle: Jed Hagan
11. Carlton: Liam McMahin
12. Collingwood: Jasper Scaife
13. Melbourne: Jack Hutchinson
14. Port Adelaide: Frank Szekeli
15. Essendon: Oskar Smartt
Some I agree with, some I don't.I'll attempt a R1 phantom draft, but I probably won't get it anywhere close to accurate:

Ineligible and not nominated.St Kilda take Benier
Didn't play for Sandringham on the weekend. That's interesting. Has this been said anywhere? Fox reported two days ago he was on radars.
Interesting. Must have chosen not to qualify him yet.Ineligible and not nominated.
Lachie Voss if they need a Sandy player (but might satisfy that at end of year)?
If he's played Zebras, yes. They aim to elevate one VFL player per season. COmmitment to development pathways.Ineligible and not nominated.

He's amongst the list that got nominated by multiple clubs for medicals tooIf he's played Zebras, yes. They aim to elevate one VFL player per season. COmmitment to development pathways.
personally I think the AFLPA should insist on 18 month minimums - many will have to move cities, so how reasonable is it to uproot your life and shift interstate for a 6 month contract?Amongst those nominating longer than minimum terms...

Some interest there. Fox reported Melbourne. He's amongst the list that got nominated by multiple clubs for medicals too
Not saying I disagree but these selections come due to players being on inactive lists which needs to be reversed at season end. So therefore I disagree.personally I think the AFLPA should insist on 18 month minimums - many will have to move cities, so how reasonable is it to uproot your life and shift interstate for a 6 month contract?
Zane Williams mentioned this a few years ago. Moved from SA, moved back in six months. He said he had many names to learn, a new system, no time to adjust really and impress in a matter of weeks. Agree with him there.personally I think the AFLPA should insist on 18 month minimums - many will have to move cities, so how reasonable is it to uproot your life and shift interstate for a 6 month contract?
I'm not suggesting Brisbane won't take Ruscoe, but gee I'd be spewing at the amount of talent they passed up to take him in this scenario. Would rather leave him until round 2. I also doubt Gold Coast will draft a player, let alone a ruck.I'll attempt a R1 phantom draft, but I probably won't get it anywhere close to accurate:

Won't surprise me if no-one takesdoubt we take Scaife with out first pick.
You're right, I forgot Remy Maclean and changed it to him.doubt we take Scaife with out first pick.
I tend to agree but this is the afl msd rookie draft. A lot of guys would take the 6 month opportunity just to be on a listpersonally I think the AFLPA should insist on 18 month minimums - many will have to move cities, so how reasonable is it to uproot your life and shift interstate for a 6 month contract?
