I don't really see how we could do the Soldo deal after saying it's a medical risk.

A token pick and a 2 year deal, depends if Port actually want him off the books or not. One of the journos was running with the story that it was less of a "failed" medical, and more we weren't confident his body had 3 good years left in it (his current contract length). Hard to say the truth of it all though, could be a bit of smoke and shadows behind the windows if you know what I mean.

Can someone explain why we have split pick 27 ?

32 will most likely end up being 29-30 after all the picks between the two get eaten up by bid matching.

We’re essentially gaining an extra pick in the 40s to move our second rounder back 2 spots.

Have only seen a few Hoffman games but I wasn't particularly excited from what I saw.

Didn't have the best hands, looked a bit clumsy.

Don't think he'll go top 40.
He was mega fumbly on the ground when I have watched, which is admittedly is parts of a handful of games. But he apparently finished extremely well and perhaps a 3rd defender might be more his spot. Kicks well and intercepts well.

Agree, I find it hard to believe any of them will go top 40
