Can't go to Sri Lanka without our opener!Kuhermann is surely a certain selection
NO of course not, he is still the best spinner of his era though. Capable of bowling a lot of overs and bowling sides out.
Marsh bowled 10 overs in the last test, 3 in Brisbane, 4 In adelaide, 17 in Perth.
You'd hope the all rounder we pick can really bat because batting is our weakness and we aren't massively relying on the all rounder to bowl. Especially if we are at the SCG and already have part time spinners.
I'm sure Smith could bowl a few overs. I'm sure Head could give us 10 overs give or take and probably buy a wicket or two at the SCG.
He’s going to get a long run at itI'm sorta expecting Konstas to be all over the shop for awhile I just hope the selectors have the guts to ride it out, it's not the 90's with a gazillion batters underneath making mountains of runs so stick with him.
The Form Guide would say…
Get on - split grip big gap between bat and pad and possibly surprised them first up. Looked average in the 2nd dig and didn’t try any trick shots. Bumrah will be waiting armed with more knowledge
Not sure if this was mentioned as part of the discussion on the previous test thread - interesting if true
Head is a bat who bowls a bit. Can bowl is a stretch - just because his fc average has gone below 60 doesn’t stop him being the fifth worst bowler in history.I don't class him as an allrounder at all.
He's a bat that can bowl.
Maybe like Trav Head.
Far from "bog average". He's been very consistent with the bat.He had a good 23/24 but has been bog average this year. His selection is favoured due to the beige selection options currently, but he shouldn’t kid himself, there are dozens upon dozens of far superior cricketers who never played a test because the bar was where is should be to get a baggy.
His point may be, one score over 61 and in four games (out of six) took five wickets.Far from "bog average". He's been very consistent with the bat.

He's also taken 11 wickets in three one-day matches @ 5.81.
He did say the 2nd innings.......
Questions that this Test asks
Is this the end of the road for our fast bowling unit trio as standalone selections?
Was Konstas a flash in the pan or is he a freak?
Can India regroup?
Will Starc get thru the game?
Not sure what you were watching but India played a lot of attacking shots in particular Jaiswal but missed so they were way behind in the 1st session and had to play for the draw in the 2nd.So not conceding runs when the opposition is playing for a draw is good bowling? With his ****ed up back, 90% of balls were unplayable, but in a white ball game would have been wides…
1 wicket for the game for the teams no2 bowler and people think he bowled well, gee the bar is set low for some…
