It's nothing to do with the tackling technique...you can't always preempt a shift in weight especially at that speed. He approached a contest with about 10 players at speed. Adjusted to tackle and hit the shoulder.

We'll agree to disagree then, tackling technuique is a massive emphasis at clubs and there's a reason you don't see them approach contests that way very often.

I'd be surprised if in the review the coach tells him he did nothing wrong and theres no room for improvement in the way he approached.
