That's the perfect game to demonstrate the value of Rohan when he's in form. Stuff all disposals, only a few tackles (the stats don't record mega tackles though, the ones that completely swing the momentum of the game, a Rohan specialty), wasn't holding his marks, a couple of goals (including the sealer when we were basically home anyway) and yet he was probably our most important player in the second half when the game was up for grabs.

I'll take 10 disposals and a goal per game on average from him if he dishes up a performance like that once a month.

the last 2 spots in the 8 are going to be really tight.

All of collingwood dogs blues gws essendope and melbourne would fancy themselves a chance and disappointed to miss.

Dogs loss tonight just blew their big chance to break free of the pack.

I’d say you can delete dogs and bombers from that list.

Dogs have played one more game than the other contenders and bombers have a really hard run home!

Years from now, Tim English will be have nightmares where he's driving along a quiet country highway at night. Nothing around as far as the eye can see. Suddenly he looks in the rear view mirror and there's Gary Rohan.

Weird thing with that 'tackle' was it looked more like a bump to me where English dropped the ball and Rohan bounced off. I'm not sure if he actually grabbed English

Yes. Geelong won.
But my post (which wasn’t even in this thread btw) was still correct at the time of its posting.

So I’m confused why you even quoted me champ. On your way.

Cmon he’s not that bad. Young ruckman, he looks like he’ll be a good player but still very young. Has cox well and truly covered however.

He needs help. A young ruckman who's run out of steam in the last quarter can look very ordinary. He'll build his endurance and learn a few tricks to keep in the game when he's tiring and he'll be fine.

There was no Bulldogs spanking of Geelong, we won. It's pretty clear.
