This is really ordinary, 23-10 is really, really bad. The Richmond melts were valid though, it’s all contextual. A lot of non-decisions at critical moments.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we just want some consistency! I don’t care if we lose the free kick count every week as long as I can sit back and be satisfied that the correct call was made. Realistically, there are so many missed calls a game under current interpretations. It wouldn’t be far fetched to suggest that there are probably 70+ payable infringements per game. Yet, we often only see 30-40 frees paid. I don’t want to see 70+ free kicks paid, so surely we must need tighten the interpretation of each rule?This would take the guess work out for the umpires, lead to less free kicks being paid and result in happier fans.

Exactly. Flop around like an epileptic Salmon, hit the ground vaguely surrounding the ball, show a "genuine" attempt.

Still, I'd like to see an umpire pay against the Tackler for that just once...just to see what happens.
