To the eye, none of what you’re saying is that true. He looks like all of our other mids do in a fairly frenetic messy game.

stats say 5 pressure acts for Wills, 6 to Pendles and treloar, hos, atu, checkers and tay have more than him as well.
wills has 1 tackle which seems low until you realize of all our mids only Tay has more than one tackle.
So the stats say he isn’t squibbing the hard stuff.

Again, those stats I mentioned were for the first quarter. I admit he's started to get his hands dirty in the second quarter, but that doesn't change the fact in the quarter, literally all he did was run around collecting cheapies. Funny how no one disputed what I said until the end of second quarter, cause based on the first quarter stats I was right. Also, I never said, the other mids didn't drop off in the second quarter. So I admit, he's did better in the second quarter (unlike some of his teamates), but his first quarter was nothing special, given he was playing on no one with basically no attention paid or pressured applied on him.

Phillips needs to play on the wing. Have to stop experimenting him with different roles.

Exactly. There’s absolutely no reason to play him in any other position. He’s a very good wingman.
