Can confirm he was an angry bugger on both sports fields then too. My younger cousin played against JL a few times, mainly cricket.
Yeah, JL's always had a bit of white line fever about him, and if you're not his friend you'll end up his enemy. I'm not a fan - his sledging was fairly petty for a supposedly smart bloke.

I don't mind the Bunga appointment, in fact I like it.

All our senior defenders speak glowingly of Bunga's leadership and the tutelage he gave them as they grew into their defensive rolls.

I have heard Duggan, Gov, Tommy, Cole and Hough talk of how the big fella helped them significantly as they were finding the feet in the AFL.

He was for the better part of his career the QB of the backline, that directed traffic and was often seen shouting out and pointing instructions to the young kids.
He learnt this from Glass and had an important role and contribution in producing a premiership backline.

So for these reason I like the appointment.

Don Pyke (WCE, 1989–1996, 132 games and Adelaide coach 2016–2019) also extremely wealthy, has his finger in the pie of the Norwegian Oil reserves after forming a business with two Norwegian guys to do seismic data which helped in oil and gas exploration before selling the business. Coaching just a bit of a hobby. Don also represented WA under-19 cricket team in 2 matches at the 1987–88 Australian Under-19 Championships, playing alongside Brendan Julian.

Thought the coaching comment was interesting...

Didn't someone say we have a hired someone that is above Bell?

I look forward to seeing some changes in the near future. Exciting stuff

Typically it's just a cap full of feathers that sits above Bell. But change is good, I'm sure we can out innovate Fremantle here quite easily.
