Why would they tag Masten?

The thing is his benefit to the team structure has greatly improved due to him focusing on his strengths and not trying to be versatile. He's not Gaff, nor is he Smith.

He took 6 marks on the weekend, watching the replay I think 4 of them have been from kick ins and off the top of my head I think there has been another one inside d50, can't remember the 6th. He hasn't turned those kicks over, he's hit targets with ease and has had some good handballs.

Are you suggesting:

Out - C. Masten
In - I. Smith ??

never been tagged entire career, quite unusual for a MID with over 150 games, it shows how oposition view his threat once he has the pill.

I wouldn't risk Elliot this week with a knee sprain, even if Shuey doesn't come up.

Give Ahchee a crack at his spot this week, see what he can do with more responsibility.

It's a long season, why risk one of our best assets this early in the year. Just my opinion.

Excellent news on the injury front. As the west coast eagles webpage:http://www.westcoasteagles.com.au/news-and-vi…/health-centre

Shuey and Petruccelle chance to return. The problem is who comes out? Hutchings and Achee?

However if Shuey and Yeo are not 100% fit dont play him dont want to risk him or Yeo

Excellent news, my gut feel is why risk Yeo or Shuey? If their not 100%? Thoughts?

Agree.

If Petrecelli is available he comes in for Yeo

Petruccelle in for an injured Yeo could see Ah Chee move into the midfield. I would rather that than Duggan to midfield given he’s finally getting some good form going in the back half.

Yet another huge challenge coming up. Really hope both Yeo and Shuey line up but regardless, as long as the team keeps playing this brand of footy they should get the job done.
