I'd play both Dixon and Lord like we play Dixon and Marshall.

Probably Farrel out for Dixon
Mead out junior in
Jonas out clurey in
Evans to sub

Ken said boak is probably gonna play which is good. He also said McKenzie will as well. Wouldn't be dissapointed if McKenzie is out as pasini could come in for a game. More worried about boak though he is a tough nut and his experience will be missed if he is out. i think he will play even if he is a bit sore because we could play him as sub. Hopefully he is good to go for the game tho.
When Ken says someone will play next week it usually means in a portnight.

Out: McKenzie, Jonas, Boak, Evans
In: Clurey, Dixon, Rioli, Dumont
Boak struggled with rib injury in pre season so give him some time. To me McKenzie was our worst defender, could have accepted Fristch beating him on the lead but he was beating him on the high slow kicks, and lost him once ball hit the deck. Clurey was good last game in the SANFL and with no Lynch we shouldn’t be exposed by their bigs. Burton to go back with Dixon coming in. Give Marshall atleast another week.

Though I love Tom Clurey in a Jared Poulton loveable ragamuffin kinda way, he's not fit to tie McKenzie's shoelaces.

McKenzie didn’t play whole last quarter think he had a hammy injury. Even if fit needs a rocket sent up him, he had no urgency Friday night.

According to dimma a number of Richmond senior players especially Jack are sore and pushing through each week

If we're ever going to beat them at the mcg this is the game so.......

Tigers 18 points 😆 🤣

They definitely looked cooked at the end of the match last night. Prestia in particular looked like he was running on the spot.

No excuses this week if we can't overrun them with an extra day's rest.

The key is shutting down Dusty.

He copped a cork to the hamstring pretty early in the game but it tightened up so they rested him in the last.

We hadn't beaten Melbourne since 2020 which was the longest current time between wins against any opponent. The new longest is actually Richmond who we haven't beaten since round 4 2021. Get the chance to knock them over in consecutive weeks.

I know Jonas has been horrible but still think it's worth trying to get the suspension overturned.

Realistically he isn't going to be dropped as captain. The only chance would be if he was keeping out someone who was banging the door down, but neither Clurey or Pasini have been that impressive for the Magpies.

So better to try and get him back to something resembling his former self, and missing every second game isn't going to help him build form.

Ryan Burton can cover for Jonas.

The last couple of weeks, Clurey has been a rock at full back in the sanfl. Looks back to required form and fitness levels.

Would have no issues with him coming in.

We should still appeal the suspension. Awful decision and Jonas has not been terrible as the Bigfooty whipping post would suggest.

Do the Tigers actually play a 3rd tall these days? Or is it just Riewoldt and that Sampson Ryan fella (as a second ruck/forward)?

In that case, we only need one of either McKenzie/Jonas or Clurey.
