It's a beautiful thing having 3 elite inside/outside mids who are great by foot. One has an off day or gets ridden like a geriatric mule by the oppo and you've got 2 more bouncing their way out of packs. We have the makings of something special if we can get (and/or select) a competent ruck and another proper tall down back.

In accordance with the coaching's mission statement for rucks, they don't need to be great at centre clearances but good after the ball has dropped and around the ground. That should be a bit easier to find. I would go and get a ruck with the lot as you want quality taps to quality midfielders who hit quality or even average forwards on the lead for six points. Repeat.
