Whoa… some full on suggestions here.
We’re already super young and inexperienced.
Marvel is a quick deck, the Dons are a quick team that will want to respond.
We’re trialling a new gameplan/style. We have several new players and are missing some key pillars - BZT, Marshall, maybe Luko.
We’ve also come from a hot game that would be quite taxing.
We need to opt for experience and speed. Blooding too many players at once can limit development as well.
It’s why it’s probably the time to opt for players like Finlayson or an underdone Ratugolea.
Plenty of time through the season for games into guys like Cochrane, Lai, etc

Atkins has not completely disgraced himself in Port colours so its can't be much worse than Ratugolea, Finlayson, Williams. Or Burton and Jones who will be coming out.

They have 7 or 8 of their best 22 out too.
And I think half their side would struggle to make most other sides. Even though we are undermanned in areas we should win
Ready for McKay to absolutely tear us a new one with no talls and all the scrutiny on his back. Berrys head has been called for a number of times on the review thread with is comical. Ready for a one arm Lord to compete in the air. Hopefully walsh comes in and bashes some blokes
So instead of us winning by 8 goals and 150 possessions we will win by 8 goals and 110 possessions

Was written before the confirmation. Fractures patellas are more like 2 months
Bcoz , he is pretty fast , agile and cover the ground well . Not to mention that he plays good hard footy just like Port Adelaide way .

Esava down back to cover for Jones. Burgoyne half back to cover for Burton. Moraes starts on the wing. Visentini up forward and rotates with Sweet to combat Draper/Bryan duo ruck combo that Bombers have.
Cochrane sub, I hate doing this but maybe best for the kid too given he's still building up his tank for AFL. His skill sets will suit the fast paced plays in Marvel.
