I think im frustrarated and angry at the lack of pride for the jumper, the players at the moment are just 24 individuals doing their thing, there's no desire, want or Passion but there's a s**t ton of 'meh, that'll do' eg im gonna stick my arms out to make it look like im trying to smother but I know full well im not gonna get near it and im not about to dive and risk injury just to do it.

Ive never seen one of our players attempt to do what Heath Shaw did to Riewoldt on the goal line of that 2010 grandfinal, that's what wins games and gives your team belief, that you have people willing to scrafice everything just to stop a goal.

Last occasion I can remember of something like that. Need him back 100%.

We had MacKay on the goal line desperately trying to stop a goal v Melbourne a few years ago, does that count.

Why would the players care when the coaches and administrators clearly don't?

I mean look at these idiots:

Rowie asks Mattner what's plan 1 2 and 3 for Cripps.

MM responds with we won't send just 1 guy to him. Matt, Brad, Sloane, Wilson will all spend time on him. We're going to back our boys in, they've trained well.

I’m hoping we are are doing a reverse Hinkley and not telling the opposition our plans but we just know that’s wishful thinking.

Our coaches are arrogant stubborn and morons

Cripps is injured (ankle) FYI. Will probably play but I think our main clearance man will be Ed Curnow. Cripps will likely spend a lot of time forward.

So playing Butts would not fix that.

I do agree playing 3 KPDs against Carlton is not a great set up. They only have two KPFs. One of them is Casboult.

Maybe Otto will go forward. And the club see this as a good week to rest Keath as he is not needed in defence. I have no doubt Keath would be somewhat fatigued having played more games than before in a season.

Of course you could argue if this was the case it should have been Fog instead of Otten. Something I think should have happened if this is the case.

It is funny though people bang on about rewarding SANFL form, the club does that in naming Wilson, Stengle and Otto. Three of the best players in our SANFL season and yet a meltdown follows.

If Otten goes forward, who is going back? But, the thought did cross my mind that once in, Otto will stay and just get shifted around. He’ll be super for our defensive pressure up forward though. It’lol be just like having Cameron back.

No problem with Wilson and Stengle. Otto is the only problem but it’s a massive problem because it describes a shithouse selection philosophy without thought for the future. Or the present really.

We don’t plan for opposition. You can bet that Teague will be trying to get Otto dragged deep and then have the other forwards push up to leave him isolated against his opponent. They’d see a serious weakness and will look to exploit it. We do nothing similar, ever.
