Brodie not being in is just reaching a bizzare point for me. He was huge in 2022, which coincidentally is the year we actually won games.

The obsession with defensive side of the stoppage is just shooting yourself in the foot at this point. One of the main reasons West Coast won last night was just winning the clearance and attacking.

You just have to put him in the team and cop it at this point. Fyfe can always go sit in a forward pocket for 20% of the game if it's too much playing them together.

Conversation “we’ll manage you until you’re able to move properly” honestly he can’t cover the ground..just like Tabs who shouldn’t get the nod ffs.

Hughes, Banners, JOM and Erasmus aren’t performing well enough.

Have to point out Walker. For such a speedy, Athletic guy it takes him Hannath/Scott Jones time to get a ground ball. Lack of hand eye coordination? Or just awful below his knees? Takes eternity for him to pick up the ball. His footy iq is questionable too. Wagner any day for mine.

Walker needs Rocky 2 training…chase the ****ing chicken and pick it up.

I’ve never seen him swoop on the ball. He runs after the dribbling ball with his two hands extended, occasionally overrunning it…I can’t be the only one that sees this glaring issue.

He has a lot to work on for mine.

Walker needs to pick when to take on the tackler. Stepping into traffic is not the way. Doesn't mean he shouldn't take the game on as this is one of his strengths but when it doesn't, sure looks ugly

Brodie needs a game next week for there to be any selection integrity.

Sturt keeps his spot on account of being the only bloke out there that actually looked like he knew how to kick the ball between the big posts. He’s not perfect but he’s proven to be effective at turning opportunities into goals, something we are absolutely crying out for.

We are just so crap at momentum at the moment, and those misses early last night sucked the absolute life out of our game

Nah I disagree with some of those changes:

• If you want to drop JOM it needs to be for Switta, they both play similar roles
• As a Brodie fan, you can't just bring him in because he is playing well at Peel. Brodie Is a midfield bull and can only replace a midfield bull i.e. Fyfe or Young. Otherwise the balance will be all off.
• Both Worner and Chapman can't come into the side, only one of them needs to replace Hughes
• Debuting Simpson is a great idea to lift up the team but only as the sub.

I agree with everything else.

Fyfe went forward and it left us with Young Brayshaw Serong or Johnson. Having Brodie going in there would have worked better especially against a big midfield like WC. He also is happy to try and chase down the oppo from the clearance which might leave Young with more opportunity to be more attacking. He showed in the last quarter that he can see and hit targets in he forward 50 with precision. They others haven't been able to on a regular basis

This. Rarely have I ever seen our mids able just clear it from the middle and hit a leading forward target.

They’re related. Our method is reliant on our talls making it hard for opposition defences to zone off. We’ve played three talls every game this season, and then seemingly abandoned the structure against a side whose main selling point is having defenders very good at taking intercept marks.

Surely Hughes will get dropped if Chappy is ready.

Chappy after his third game of WAFL is 100% ready.

I’d still bring in Brodie. He bossed that game yesterday as BOG. I’d bring him in for Erasmus. Brodie can play sub. The other changes I agree with.

I like Voss but feel he is now playing more KPF at Peel and he cannot take a contested mark and also just his first game a for a few weeks.

I’d really like to try and get Simpson to play but he may need another solid game to back-up. Also have Freddy and Switta back.
