Obviously I worded it poorly but figured people would be able to get the point. Clearly not.
Sturt had zero impact on the game up until we were down 60 points. It doesn't matter how many goals he kicks when the game is already over if he's not kicking goals while the game is still up for grabs.
You think every good AFL player is a physical beast who can out-body a key defender?

If that game doesn’t convince the Sturt, Erasmus and Johnson fan clubs that they got it wrong then nothing will.

Right back at ya. If you want to be fooled by players who look ok in wins and when the conditions suit them then go right ahead. But that is really dumb.
Are you part of the Banfield fan club? If you look at our fwd line and think someone who actually kicks goals shouldn't be a part of it then I can't help you

It's very easy to be reactionary after a win, so I think we realistically have 3 changes to make at a minimum:
Freddy > Banfield
Switta > JOM
Tabener > Amiss
I don't think JLo has ever made more then 3/4 changes to a side before so we need to temper our expectations. I would like to see these changes though:
Chapman > Hughes
Stanley > Johnson
Simpson (sub) > Erasmus
Freddy > Banfield

Like Gold Coast have done with Andrew Swallow I wouldn't mind seeing Michael Walters as sub. I think he could make an impact when everyone's a bit fatigued.
Changing the topic when you know you have lost an argument is kinda dumb also. Banfield was not mentioned anywhere by me. Go back and check. My opinions were about Erasmus, Sturt and Johnson.

I would keep Walters in, and make Simpson the sub. At least Walters can direct our young forwardline and mentor them on the field which is valuable. JOM at this stage adds nothing so should be replaced with Switta.
Agree with the sentiment. But falling over evertime the ball comes near you is not good mentorship. I would rather see him come in when we have injuries. He would probably have enough in the legs to make an impact on those occassions. Just my take.

A lot of players unfortunately coasting off of past glories and it's sad, Walters and O'Meara especially have shown that they're not up to task anymore, you have Will Brodie playing in the WAFL who would be chomping at the bit to prove himself again, he was one of our best players in 2022, he's also 25 years old, he's still very young.
Cooper Simpson I'd like to see get a run too, would love to see some of his nous up forward.

JOM should go out before Johnson, only on age if nothing else

Johnson showed good signs last night too, he's earned a reprieve over most of our players.

Unicorn has been brilliant for Freo till last couple weeks. He's exhausted by having to be the Main Man - his zip has been zapped. Plus he appears to be carrying hand/finger injury.
In the words of FreoMonocle, Luke's - and the team's 'headology' has also taken a battering in Adelaide. Hopefully rest & recovery plus return of some of our critical mass players will bring composure, confidence - and wins.
I think the sooner supporters realise our forward line is beyond horrid the better.

The only one to have kicked a bag is Taberner who is well behind his average standard.
Jackson ain’t a forward. Treacy is young and tries. Sturt unproven. Freddy is only ‘ok’ in wins. Switta doesn’t directly impact the scoreboard.
There’s only one person I would ever think you could hope to kick 4+ goals. That’s Amiss.
EVERYONE else listed you’re hoping for 2 goals and often they don’t even kick 1.
Our forward line is miles off AFL standard and our mids are miles off assisting on the scoreboard.
